Kimberly Burris has over 25 years of experience working in social services. She currently works as a school social worker providing counseling, crisis intervention, and support services to at-risk students. She also teaches social work courses as an adjunct professor. Her previous roles include coordinating dropout prevention programs, administering housing assistance programs for those with HIV/AIDS, and providing case management for individuals with developmental disabilities. She has a bachelor's degree in social work and a master's degree in social work with a concentration in community development and youth homelessness.
