Reference:Recommendation letter forKaylee Bell
It is my great honor to recommend Kaylee Bell fora role within yourorganization.
I am a faculty member in the advertising/public relations sequence in the Lemke
Department of Journalism at the University of Arkansas, and Kaylee was a student in my
Public Relations Writing course forthe spring 2016 semester. Kaylee impressed me from
the first day of class with her demeanor, her professional attitude and her obvious work
ethic. She is a strong writer and a solid professional, and I believe she wouldbring
tremendous value to any organization.
In my classes, I place a heavy emphasis on practical projects in whichstudents work with
nonprofit clients to solve real-world public relations problems. Kaylee excelled at working
with her team to develop strategies and tactics aimed at meeting the needs of the client,
Peace at Home Family Shelter. The particular opportunity the group addressed was
promotion of the Peace at Home ThriftStore, a source of operating revenue for the
nonprofit. Kaylee’s group proposed an outreach plan to make the campus community,
particularly Greek organizations, aware of the needs of the thrift store and to follow up the
groundwork witha campus clothing drive and a “blockparty” at the thrift store location.
Kaylee was an instrumental part of the project.
In short, I believe Kaylee is an exceptional candidate for a role within yourorganization. I
would be glad to answer any questions about her qualifications. I may be contactedby cell
phone at 479-936-1228 or by email at deborahm@uark.edu. Thank youfor the opportunity
to share a few of this candidate’s exceptional characteristics.
Sincerely,
Debbie Miller
