The students are working on their final project for a human body unit, where they need to explain how body systems are connected and discuss choices that affect the body. They invite others to come see their performance. Another student explains that "author's chair" is when students share their best writing with the class and pretend to be authors sitting in a special chair, which is enjoyed in their class.

1. Our Unit of Inquiry
“What should we write?” I said. We where working on our
human body unit and we are on our final project and we are
planning it. It is on the 19,11,2012. We have to tell how our
system is connected to other parts or systems in our body.
We need to make it interesting and we need to make it
informative and the choices that will help or hurt our body.

Do you know what Authors chair mean? I'll tell you, Authors chair is
when you do your best piece of writing and share it with the class.
Actually we made the word up Authors chair. And also we pretend to be
an author, and we sit on a special chair. Everyone loves it in our class.
