The Governance Process Team was formed to improve communication and processes between KP-IT and business partners regarding IT projects. An initial task force found roles and responsibilities in approval councils were unclear and common tools and practices were lacking. The Governance Process Team, sponsored by KP's IT subgroup, was selected to develop consistent oversight practices, processes, tools and improve information flow across approval councils. The team is enthusiastic about collaborating to align priorities between regions and approval councils to avoid surprise decisions.
