to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover

- 2. Summary The Help is a movie about a group of maids in Jackson, Mississippi set in the 60s. All of the women they serve treat them badly, so a young woman named Skeeter decides to write a book filled with stories from the maids. She sends out to the local publisher and it gets published. It becomes a big hit and Skeeter gives the majority of money to the two maids who first gave their stories.
- 3. Discrimination against Human Rights in The Help • A lot of the rich women abuse maids. • One of the maid’s husband abuses her • The maids live in a very bad house • Children all sleep in the same grimy room • One of the rich women is sneered by the others for “cheating with another man”

What I think could make it better • If the film wasn’t so slow: there was a lot of details that didn’t have to be there, that seemed like was just a time filler. • I know it was a film about discrimination and racism but there was a lot of swear words and words that were uncomfortable to hear over and over again
