The document summarizes the founding and goals of the NGO "Donetsk institute of information" and the DonbasPublicTV (DPTV) initiative. 3. DonbasPublicTV (DPTV)

is a Donbas journalists’ initiative aimed to create an independent public
TV online
The project is important in terms of lack of the objective information on the
situation in Donbas region. DonbasPublicTV is providing news for civil
population in the eastern Ukraine where free access to media resources is
currently hindered due to the armed conflict.

4. The primary task of DPTV is to inform, promote openness and independence of
media space in the region, responsibility to the audience.
