Jack Willis (the guy in the picture on the revision sheet) has entered a competition were you have to climb up a very strange shaped mountain to win a life times supply of jelly beans. He climbed slowly up the mountain. Then he came to an awkward part of the mountain. That peice of the mountain started to turn round into a circle. He kept on going fast to get out of that area because it was the most difficult part yet. Jack also did not want to fall off and not win the contest. Then he would not get the jelly beans. He has almost reached the top when all of a sudden he fell down onto the most biggest pile of pillows i ever saw so far. For participating he was handed a medium sized bag of jelly beans. But someone did finish the competition and Jack was so jelous of him, because it was his younger brother. B: WRITING A STORY

F:MEDIA STUDIES Battles start off court This is asthma awareness week. Netball star 22 year old Casey Williams never goes anywhere without her inhaler. She has had asthma since she was a kid. Usually 1 out of 4 of the family will get it but 3 out of 4 in her family have it. She has 3 inhalers and takes pills in the morning and at night. She grew up on a farm and when she gets sick it got twice as bad. 22,000 Waikato children under 15 have the illness. Often children are so ill with asthma that they can not go to school. In total 45,000 school days are lost a year in the Waikato. This is an amazing statistic.
Magic cruise but Taurua not pleased The Waikato netball team said they needed a break and a break is what they got. After hard games in Brisbane and Christchurch the Waikato netball was tired. They played against the Central Pulse on Saturday and they had expected an easy game. The Central Pulse were missing one of their best players and therefore were not playing as well as they usually do. Therefore the Magic team thought it was going to be an easy win for them but they were not playing very well. They made a lot of mistakes and took a long time to get into the game. For the first half of the game, neither of the teams played very well. But for the second half of the game the Magic team improved their game a lot and started scoring lots of goals. There were two players who were playing their first game for the season, so they were pleased that the team won. Casey Williams usually plays brilliantly but today she only played well.

PARENT COMMENT: Fina generally works well as long as the tv is off. I am very impressed with this homework Josefina. You have really made good use of PowerPoint here. It is really good to see all of the activities done. It would be even better if you could include your reading log. 95
