To join NSDL as an issuer, a company must get electronic connectivity with its registrar and transfer agent and submit several documents including audited financial statements, memorandum and articles of association, and board resolutions. After submitting documents and signing triplicate agreements, NSDL will generate an International Securities Identification Number (ISIN) for the company's security and inform the company. Required documents include a letter of intent, balance sheets, listing permissions, reconciliation reports, and undertakings depending on if the company is public or private.
