Skanska UK has a long history of collaborative partnerships with Bristol City Council, including over 10 years of work on schools across Bristol that has provided over 8,000 primary school places and improved 15,000 secondary school places. One of Skanska's recent projects discussed was the redevelopment of the Engine Shed building in Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone, which will reconnect the train station to the city center and serve as an icon for Bristol when it opens as a collaborative workspace.
