During his Internship at ampmedia, John learned the following skills: in
field and studio camera operation, and as a Control Room Operator in
the studio.
Hardware: Sony HD Broadcast production cameras in both on
location and in live studio broadcasts and web streaming
productions.
Cameras: Professional and Prosumer models. Studio production
adjustment for light rigging, and power settings for routing power to
default directional audio microphone or multiple feeds - auto setting
for audio, or separate channels. Manual adjustments of audio
quality control, and video effects range, lens clarity, optical zoom,
and shutter speed.
Windows based computer production system: NewTek Tricaster
desktop Control room with built in switcher, graphics, audio and
special effects modules.
Additional features include: Dual Disk startup/backup volume,
media recording, storage and playback capability. Optional external
switcher with Virtual Effects.
Hypercaster B-1000 HD TV Channel server system: Managing five
cable channels, broadcast transmitter, with multiple capture and
video playback ability and Video On Demand playback. Network
Server link: in studio LAN or portable Wireless. AVerMedia portable
HDD unit recording solution.
Inter-office communication: Microsoft Office for Business.
Software: Adobe Creative Cloud 6 Suite (standalone Premiere
mainly), dedicated media conversion multi-formats, Televue
broadcast scheduling, and Facil program management, and OS,
peripheral, cable updating and maintenance thereof.
