This is a hand-created powerpoint where a students did the drawing himself. He cut, pasted and manipulated the same object to give the illusion of movement. He did an exceptional job of ungrouping the drawing and manipulating the movement of the arms and legs.

This presentation consists of student drawings created using the drawing toolbar in Microsoft word and Microsoft Powerpoint.
Students start with a drawing then cut, paste and manipulate it in several slides. There are no animation tools used. There is an illusion of movement created by the placement of each drawing in the slide.
Throwing the Ball
This powerpoint was done by an eleven year old child as part of a community recreation program. He drew the elements and then copied and pasted them into Powerpoint to make it appear as if the ball was moving. He used Ms. Gustafson goes for a walk as an example and added his own imagination.

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.
