The Africa Rice Center is seeking a Research Assistant in Agronomy to be based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The successful candidate will assist scientists with research projects on parasitic weeds, good agricultural practices, and integrated weed management in East Africa. Duties include establishing experiments, conducting farmer surveys, data collection and analysis, and report writing. A Master's degree in agronomy, weed science or a related field is required, along with experience in on-farm research trials and statistical analysis skills. Strong English communication skills are necessary, and French is desirable.
