Mans negres. “Mercat de la mascota i indústria orgànica i naturista”.

Product Design Trends in 2024 | Teenage EngineeringsPixeldarts
The realm of product design is a constantly changing environment where technology and style intersect. Every year introduces fresh challenges and exciting trends that mold the future of this captivating art form. In this piece, we delve into the significant trends set to influence the look and functionality of product design in the year 2024.
How Race, Age and Gender Shape Attitudes Towards Mental HealthThinkNow
Mental health has been in the news quite a bit lately. Dozens of U.S. states are currently suing Meta for contributing to the youth mental health crisis by inserting addictive features into their products, while the U.S. Surgeon General is touring the nation to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation. The country has endured periods of low national morale, such as in the 1970s when high inflation and the energy crisis worsened public sentiment following the Vietnam War. The current mood, however, feels different. Gallup recently reported that national mental health is at an all-time low, with few bright spots to lift spirits.
To better understand how Americans are feeling and their attitudes towards mental health in general, ThinkNow conducted a nationally representative quantitative survey of 1,500 respondents and found some interesting differences among ethnic, age and gender groups.
Technology
For example, 52% agree that technology and social media have a negative impact on mental health, but when broken out by race, 61% of Whites felt technology had a negative effect, and only 48% of Hispanics thought it did.
While technology has helped us keep in touch with friends and family in faraway places, it appears to have degraded our ability to connect in person. Staying connected online is a double-edged sword since the same news feed that brings us pictures of the grandkids and fluffy kittens also feeds us news about the wars in Israel and Ukraine, the dysfunction in Washington, the latest mass shooting and the climate crisis.
Hispanics may have a built-in defense against the isolation technology breeds, owing to their large, multigenerational households, strong social support systems, and tendency to use social media to stay connected with relatives abroad.
Age and Gender
When asked how individuals rate their mental health, men rate it higher than women by 11 percentage points, and Baby Boomers rank it highest at 83%, saying it’s good or excellent vs. 57% of Gen Z saying the same.
Gen Z spends the most amount of time on social media, so the notion that social media negatively affects mental health appears to be correlated. Unfortunately, Gen Z is also the generation that’s least comfortable discussing mental health concerns with healthcare professionals. Only 40% of them state they’re comfortable discussing their issues with a professional compared to 60% of Millennials and 65% of Boomers.
Race Affects Attitudes
As seen in previous research conducted by ThinkNow, Asian Americans lag other groups when it comes to awareness of mental health issues. Twenty-four percent of Asian Americans believe that having a mental health issue is a sign of weakness compared to the 16% average for all groups. Asians are also considerably less likely to be aware of mental health services in their communities (42% vs. 55%) and most likely to seek out information on social media (51% vs. 35%).

Jo accepto
no ens hem aturat a pensar.
A grans línies, aquest és el seu
contingut:
2. CLÀUSULA 1:
Jo accepto la
recerca del confort
com la fi suprema
de la humanitat i
l’acumulació de
riqueses com l’éxit
més gran a la vida.
Com més infeliç
sigui, més
consumiré i, així,
contribuiré al bon
funcionament
d’aquest sistema
perfecte.
3. CLÀUSULA 2:
Jo accepto que la investigació
relacionada amb la meva salut estigui
en mans d’empreses, la única
motivació de les quals és generar
beneficis.
No em preocupa que les
farmacéutiques financïin els
congressos de medicina i que així
controlin la informació que arriba als
meus metges.
recolzo absolutament aquestes actuacions.
pago puntualment.
7. CLÀUSULA 6:
Jo accepto que els bancs
internacionals deixin
diners a països que
compren armes per a
iniciar o seguir guerres, i
que decideixin on poden
dur-se a terme aquestes
guerres.
Sóc conscient que el millor
és finançar ambdós
bàndols per a que el
conflicte s’allargui el major
temps possible, no només
per guanyar més diners,
sinò per quedar-se els
recursos quan no puguin
tornar els crèdits.
tinc, no m’aporten res...
darrera
tecnologia que
transmet les
meves dades i el
que faig sense jo
saber-ho.
12. CLÀUSULA 11:
Jo accepto que els mitjans de
comunicació estiguin
concentrats en les mans dels
grans poders econòmics,
perquè sé que en faran un bon
ús.
Acepto creure’m només el que
els mitjans diguin i pensar que
el que es diu per altres canals
són badomeries i impostures
per a gent inculta i crèdula.
Jo accepto aquesta matriu en
la que m’han col·locat per a
que no pugui patir amb la
realitat de les coses. Sé que ho
fan per al meu bé.
13. CLÀUSULA 12:
Jo accepto que les
notícies em diguin tot el
pitjor que ha passat al
planeta en les darreres
hores per a fer-me
sentir impotent i que
pensi que no hi ha res a
fer.
Sé que alimentar la por,
la ràbia i la desesperació
és el millor que poden
fer per nosaltres, perquè
creure que es pot
canviar alguna cosa és
un concepte perillós.
14. CLÀUSULA 13:
Jo accepto les versions dels
esdeveniments que em
faciliten els mitjans i
recolzo les divisions entre
éssers humans que em
vulguin fer creure els
governs.
D’aquesta forma, podré
focalitzar la meva còlera
cap els enemics dissenyats
pel poder i no m’oposaré a
accions bèl·liques que
responguin a interessos
político-econòmics.
15. CLÀUSULA 14:
Jo accepto que
es condemni a
mort al pròxim i
se’ns animi a
acabar amb ell,
com a única
forma de tractar
la seva maldat.
any.
17. CLÀUSULA 16:
Em sembla bé que hi hagi
països com Haití, on han de
menjar galetes fetes
d’argila.
Crec que tots pensem el
mateix i estem d’acord
mentre no haguem de fer-
ho nosaltres.
18. CLÀUSULA 17:
Jo accepto que...
-La felicitat és la
comoditat i el confort
-L’ amor és sexe
- La llibertat és tenir
diners per a poder
satisfer tots els meus
desitjos.
19. CLÀUSULA 18:
Jo accepto que es
facin guerres per
motivacions
econòmiques com el
petroli o els
diamants o per
donar sortida a
armament obsolet.
Hem de fer el
possible per
mantenir el sistema
en marxa perquè és
el millor.
20. CLÀUSULA 19:
Jo accepto menjar
carn tractada amb
hormones sense
que calgui
prohibir-ho per
llei.
Jo accepto fer de conillet
d’índies i menjar transgènics,
per comprovar si, a la llarga,
apareix alguna anomalia a la
nostra espècie.
21. CLÀUSULA 20:
Jo accepto que els
vegetals que ingereixo
hagin rebut pesticides i
herbicides tòxics per a la
meva salut perquè sé que
ho tindran en compte.
Jo accepto que s’utilitzin
tot tipus d’additius
químics a la meva
alimentació. Sé que, si ho
fan, és perquè saben
positivament que no
tenen conseqüències per
a la salut a llarg plaç.
reparteixin guanys enormes.
eficient i equitativa.
nosaltres..
24. CLÀUSULA 23:
Jo accepto la política de
«revolting doors» (portes
giratòries).
Sé que els directius
d’organismes
internacionals com la
OMS, la OIT, el FMI i el
Banc Mundial son ex-
treballadors de grans
corporacions que saben
que, si es porten bé, hi
tornaran guanyant
quantitats
astronòmiques.
25. CLÀUSULA 24:
Jo accepto l’hegemonia del
petroli en l’economia, malgrat
ser una energia cara d’extreure
i contaminant.
Estic d’acord en impedir
qualsevol temptativa de
substitució, perquè la
implantació dels mètodes
d’energia lliure ja descoberts i
silenciats, serien una catàstrofe
pel sistema .
26. CLÀUSULA 25:
Jo accepto que el valor
d’una persona depengui
de la seva capacitat per a
generar diners i de si
apareixen o on a la
televisió.
Prendré com a referents
personals aquestes
persones i no voldré
pensar de forma
independent i lliure.
27. CLÀUSULA 26:
Jo accepto que es
paguin fortunes a
jugadors de futbol i a
actors i convertir-los
en els nostres models.
Així evitem pensar en
coses perilloses.
És lògic que es pagui
poc als professors que
han d’ensenyar les
generacions futures.
28. CLÀUSULA 27: Jo accepto que les
multinacionals no apliquin els
beneficis socials als països
desfavorits perquè no guanyarien
tants diners.
Recolzo que hi hagi nens
treballant, mentre això faci el
producte més barat.
29. CLÀUSULA 28:
Jo accepto que la gent
gran es consideri una
molèstia i no siguin
considerats el nostre
model a seguir, ja
que, com a civilització
més avançada del
planeta, sabem que
l’experiència no té cap
valor i només la
joventut i l’energia
són un valor constant.
31. CLÀUSULA 30: Jo accepto
usar el més valuós
que tinc, el meu
temps, en fer
un
treball que
no m’agrada
per comprar més
coses amb les que puc
oblidar la meva vida estèril.
32. CLÀUSULA 31:
Jo accepto la
destrucció dels boscos
i la desaparició
d’espècies naturals.
Em sembla lògic
contaminar el món
que ens ha estat
donat i dispersar
tòxics químics o
enterrar i submergir
residus radioactius on
no els puguem veure.
polítics ambiciosos i immorals.
Les organitzacions secretes i poderoses
34. CLÀUSULA 33:
Jo accepto que el
sistema actual és el
millor possible, molt
lluny dels grans
ideals i els somnis.
El món ha de ser
dirigit per persones
realistes i no per
sentimentals.
Els somniadors
només porten
problemes i
inestabilitat.
36. CLÀUSULA 35: Jo accepto no fer preguntes, tancar
els ulls i no escoltar. No m’oposaré a res perquè ja
tinc prou preocupacions amb els meus propis
assumptes.
37. CLÀUSULA 36:
Jo accepto ser una
peça d’un sistema,
adaptar-me a ell i
ensenyar els meus
fills a fer-ho.
La meva prioritat és
mantenir-me en el
sistema i no
qüestionar-me si ens
permet ser o no
feliços.
problemes exposats.
Reorientem les nostres despeses cap a
iniciatives que ajudaran a corregir aquests
problemes.
39. Abans o després. el canvi és inevitable.
