Three little pigs are sent by their sick mother to each build their own house. The youngest builds his of straw, which is easily blown down by the wolf. The second builds his of wood, which is also destroyed by the wolf. The oldest builds his of brick, which withstands the wolf's attempts to enter, until he tries the chimney and falls into a pot of boiling water, burning his tail and ensuring he will never bother the pigs again. The three little pigs then live happily ever after.
