Jellyfish forecas3ng service based on Earth Observa3on (JELLYFOR-BE)
The “JellyFor” project aimed at calculaFng the spectral signature of jellyfish in order to observe jellyfish blooms using satellite
imaging. This project required an efficient and concise approach in order to meet the publicaFon deadlines. MulFtasking was key in
meeFng these deadlines. Transparency between the different co-workers was essenFal in order to avoid misunderstandings. In
addiFon, mulF-lingual communicaFon skills were needed in order to communicate with technical suppliers across Europe.

Within this project, the objecFve was to idenFfy whether natural small mammal (including wood mice, water voles and shrews)
distribuFons were disturbed due to a railway dissecFng the habitat in quesFon.
• Conducted in-situ field work including small mammal trapping, handling and mapping

Fieldwork on wild boar in Spain
This two week project aimed at idenFfying (on a quanFtaFve basis) damage to vegetaFon caused by wild boar in Spain (Almeria).
• Measured vegeta9on plots, tracked wild boar ac9vi9es and conducted small scale mapping of relevant findings
• Demonstrated efficient organisa9onal skills allowing me to gather as much research as possible within a small 9me frame
• Communicated plans with the local farmers, the general public and University staff
