JeanneAnn Garito is a 25-year-old medical laboratory scientist at Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn who is pursuing a career in teaching chemistry. As a medical scientist, she differentiates blood smears using a double-headed microscope to help doctors diagnose patients with conditions like anemia and neutropenia. Her ideal lab would have both automated and manual work areas and her team of scientists would include forensic crime scene investigators.
