The Production Control System is a simulated application that mimics a real production scheduling system. It schedules production sequences of various products based on customer demand and deadlines. The application interface allows users to view waiting work orders, alter the production sequence using buttons, and input information to open new work orders using a sub-window. The system is developed using Java and a MySQL database.

1. Project: Production Control System
It’s a simulated application which mimics the operation of a real production system
that I involved to develop with MIS department in Transcend Information, Inc. The main
purpose of this system is to schedule the production sequence of various products based
on the demand from customer and deadline. The below panel of application (above
picture) indicates the work orders (productions) waiting to be scheduled. The upper panel
of the application shows the sequence of production and the sequence can be altered by
press the 4 green buttons on the right hand side. Below picture presents a sub-window
which is used to input information required for opening a new work order.
This system is developed based on Java (JDK 6) and MySQL database.
