DIY Aussie Traveller Top Tips Only organise flights and accommodation and … Organise Japan Rail Pass before you leave Do internet searches to ensure that you can manage the travel if you don’t speak a lot of Japanese Travel by train, subway and walking. It’s easy! Eat at places where food is displayed and point Railway station local food is often very good Learn enough Japanese to be polite, ask for help finding places and make positive comments Shop in supermarkets for snacks and drinks Find the 100 Yen shops Find any local markets Take limited luggage and have space for “goodies” there are many wonderful, unique things to purchase.
