Objective: Attain a position in which I can contribute to the overall success of the
business by utilizing my communication, interpersonal, managerial and creative skills in

Personal Summary: While independently managing a local retail mail center over the
past four years, I’ve developed and strengthened a set of traits, skills, and characteristics
that are both critical and transferable to any business. I’m highly adaptable to all
situations and circumstances, adept at working independently with little to no direction,
and able to problem-solve and execute on plans. Frequently interacting with one-hundred
customers per day, I understand the importance of communication. In the melting pot of
Los Angeles, many varying demographics and social castes inhabit such a small
proximity. The ability to read body language, understand vernacular, and establish a
common ground for communication is a skill I have acquired during my time as a retail
manager. Being conversational in Spanish, I am able to overcome a language barrier that
many professionals encounter in the city.
Creative Summary: Over the past four years, I have released eleven self-produced,
written, and engineered studio albums of the hip-hop and EDM genres under the
professional name of James Patrick. In addition, I have acted as director and editor for all
twenty-five of my music video releases. I created my own musician website using a
wordpress, and am extremely adept in Search Engine Optimization and related analytics.
I have personally designed all graphics, logos, and album covers associated with my
brand.

Logic Pro X • Familiar with processes of synthesis and music theory
• Have mixed, mastered, and engineered all of my releases using stock
plug-ins
