Jackie Vaughan has served for 27 years in various capacities at UMCom, always working humbly behind the scenes. She helped implement their Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors campaign and bridged it to their RETHINK CHURCH events. Jackie also raised two daughters and has four grandchildren while working. Now she is transitioning to spend more time with her grandchildren while continuing to share her experience with UMCom.

always with a humility that never sought center stage.

the Open Hearts ,
Open Minds, Open
Doors campaign at
its inception in
2001 and was
instrumental in
implementing the
welcoming
program that grew
alongside it and
bridging the
message into
RETHINK CHURCH.

8. In her current
role, Directing
the media and
advertising for
RETHINK
CHURCH EVENTS,
Jackie has always
had a heart for
the local church
and her actions
helped countless
others “open
doors.”

9. Along the way,
Jackie has
received
multiple honors
for her work.
In 2003, she was
honored by
UMAC as the
Communicator
of the Year!

10. In the midst of the work, Jackie also
made time for fun. She is a treasured
friend to so many.

13. During these years Jackie, raised
two daughters and has welcomed
four grandchildren into the world.

15. Now, as she transitions to have more time to spend with her
precious grandchildren, know that she will still be sharing her
wisdom, experience and passion for ministry with UMCom.
