To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is my personal recommendation for Jack Whiting.Until justrecently, I have been Jack’s immediate
supervisor until thecompletion of his internship atAthletic Evolution. I found himto be consistently passionate,
intelligent,and driven.
Jack went above and beyond my expectations for him as an intern whileat Athletic Evolution (AE). Early in the
internship Jack demonstrated his greatunderstandingof this field and his natural ability to coach. Despite a great
foundation,Jack was always workingto improve himself. Duringhis time here, I sawJack build on his knowledge
in this field, and become more comfortable as a coach. He was very likableamongathletes and coaches, and was a
pleasureto work with. Jack was always working, and was driven to become a better coach each day.
Jack demonstrated throughout the internship thathe could coach and lead a variety of age levels through their
workouts. Workingwith the youth groups, Jack showed his patienceand knowledge of the developmental needs
of young athletes. In addition to the Youth Program, Jack worked with the high school and collegeathletes here.
Whileworkingwith these groups, Jack showed his confidenceand his ability to control and coach more advanced
athletes, and larger groups of athletes. Over the courseof the internship Jack demonstrated his range by working
with a variety of groups and athletes trainingfor multiplesports. Duringhis time atAE Jack worked with football,
basketball, volleyball, soccer, and icehockey specific groups, and was ableto adaptto each program and each
athlete with ease. Jack’s exceptional work ethic allowed himto pick the programup quickly. By the end of the
program Jack was efficient in all of the movements associated with our program, rangingfrom Olympic lifts to
functional movements and correctiveexercises.
I highly recommend Jack for employment. He has a great work ethic, a great foundation of knowledge in the field
of Strength & Conditioning, and would make a great assetto any organization.
Sincerely,
