Italy’s Tourist Hot
                         Spots
The Colliseum, The Leaning tower of Pisa, Mount Etna and
                                                 Pompeii
The Coliseum's construction began in
72AD and finished building in 80AD. It's in
the Capital City, Rome. It could hold 50,000
people and was used for Gladiator fights.
These days it's a major tourist attraction
and a great way to see how the Ancient
Romans lived, fought and were entertained.

The Coliseum
The height of the Leaning tower of Pisa
is 55.86m. It is located in Pisa and is now
one of the most well known places in Italy,
it's a great place for photography as well,
you can get a picture of 'yourself holding
up the tower'. To complete the entire
tower it took a total of 177 years, and I
think that it would be a great place to visit
and would be really fun.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa
Mount Etna is the highest active Volcano
in Europe. It is on the East Coast of
Sicily, there are lots of different tours to
view the Mountain, like bus rides and a four
wheel drive tour. In Winter some parts of
the mountain were used for Skiing. The
mountain is an awesome place to look at
and I would strongly recommend visiting it.

Mount Etna
Pompeii is a famous town in Southern
Italy, it is in the region of Campania and in
the city of Naples. It is the place of one of
the worst ever volcanic eruptions,
everything and every one was frozen in
time. Pompeii was lost for 1700 years
before it was found again in 1748. It is one
of the most freaky sites but if you're not
too spooked by it Pompeii is one of the best
places in Italy to visit.
