I haven't ventured out on my own

I think the vigil was right to take
place - if the public wish to gather
and make their feelings known then
they MUST be allowed to do so. This
was a calm and peaceful vigil which
turned quite ugly

The organisers told everyone that
the vigil was off because of social
distancing which was correct.
Thousands went and stayed a few
minutes …the rebels had to attend
and start being abusive

My wife took our two daughters
(aged 10 and 13). It was really
peaceful with lots of female police.
Only when trouble making protesters
started aggravating the police did
