Lord Sharman, Chairman of the Trustees, invites alumni to a reception on June 22nd 2017 in London to launch the Bishop Wordsworth's School Foundation. The Foundation will fund infrastructure projects and provide financial support to intellectually able students regardless of their financial situation, helping ensure a BWS education is accessible to boys from all backgrounds. RSVPs should be sent to the Alumni Development & Events Manager by June 15th.

2. About the Foundation
The BWS Foundation is being created with two specific missions:
1. Firstly, it will fund the vast array of projects at Bishop’s which strengthen the
school’s infrastructure and enable us to achieve our goals
2. Secondly, and more importantly, it will provide financial backing to those
children who are intellectually, but not financially, able to come to our
school or those who need financial support whilst at school. We
wholeheartedly believe that a BWS education should be achievable for
boys from all social and economic strata, and the BWS Foundation Bursaries
will help make that a reality.
