TOPIC: GULSHAN IQBAL PARK BLAST
PROBLEM STATEMENT : Massive Destruction of Human lives mostly
including women and kids.
Objective : To unhide the truth till the depth of the matter and
arrest culprits of innocent children and families killed in blast.

4. GULSHAN IQBAL PARK

5. Introduction:
A Suicide Bomb Blast occurred on Sunday in Gulshan e Iqbal park left atleast 72
people dead including women and children and 300 + injured.
The powerful bomb blast hit the crowded area of the park where the children
and families had gathered to enjoy the different facilities of the park. Being a public
day, weekend and specially Easter Day attracted many people and resulted in
devastation. The sound of the blast was heard around 6:30 pm, with rescue teams
dispatched to the site. These included 23 ambulances and rescue vehicles.
According to reports the blast took place a few meters away from the children's
swings. The authorities escorted people out of the park, which is one of the busiest
recreational spots in the area.

DIG Operations says that there was no news that this place
will be targeted. “The eyewitnesses have said it is a suicide
attack and we have started the investigation of the incident.
After detailed evaluation by the concerned agencies we will
be able to tell the real nature of the blast,” he said.
According to Security agencies they have found the dead
body of the suicide bomber.
"His upper body is recognizable. He was around 22 years
old," security sources stated.

The rescue 1122 and Edhi arrived on the spot
to help transfer the patients
The injured have been shifted to Jinnah
Hospital and Shaikh Zayed Hospital.
Emergency was declared in all city hospitals.

11. FIR
The FIR of blast is lodged in Gulshan-e-Iqbal town, police
officials said that FIR has been registered against
unknown terrorists’ organisation and it’s facilitators.
law enforcement authorities gathered evidences while
doing Geo-Fencing.

12. JAMAAT ALAHRAR
"The target were Christians," said a spokesman for the faction, Ehsanullah
Ehsan. "We want to send this message to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that we
have entered Lahore. He can do what he wants but he won't be able to stop us.
Our suicide bombers will continue these attacks."
Jamaat Alahrar ("AssemblyoftheFree") is a militant Sunni Islamic group that
split away from the Tehrik-iTaliban Pakistan in August 2014.Although some
media outlets reported that the group had pledged allegiance to ISIS. The
Operation Khyber-1 and many other claimed terrorist attacks were performed
by them.

15. Suicide Bomber:
• Security agencies claim that they have found the dead body of the suicide
bomber.
1st report "His upper body is recognizable. He was around 22 years old," security
sources stated.
• 2 nd report :The suicide bomber is identified as 28-year-old M Yousaf son of
Ghulam Fareed, from Muzaffargarh. U
• "For further confirmation the address given on his ID card will be evaluated and a
DNA will be tested on his remaining body," a security official said.
• According to Waqt News the park does not have CCTV. The walls of the park have
been damaged by the blast, according to reports

Many faced hospitals to visit the injured
including Punjab Health Advisor Khwaja Salman
Rafique, PM Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan
President Mamnoon Hussain, , PPP CHAIRMAN
Asif Ali Zardari Interior Minister Chaudhary
Nisar Ali Khan , Dr Tahir ul Qadri and many
others have also condemned the blast.

• The main question still remains unanswered that is the security of
the public where as the VIP enjoy the best of it.
• What measures will be taken by the government in response to
Jamaat Al ahrar.
