This document provides an introduction to the concept of "experiencing listening prayer," which is described as an approach to prayer focused on creating an active, personal dialogue with God. It discusses how Jesus used questions and parables to teach people and get them to examine their understandings. The document asks several questions about listening to God, such as whether God speaks to ordinary people regularly, how attitude impacts hearing God, how God speaks to people, and how to know if one is truly hearing from God. It aims to address concerns or doubts people may have about pursuing personal communication with God.

The purpose of this website is to make everyone a disciple, just like Jesus said that if you often do my word, you are my disciple, but will God follow his own word? In daily life, many people often see the interpretation of the scriptures, but if you carefully consider, you find that he has not followed God's Word, at least in the classroom or in private life. Scriptures, for this kind of person regards the Bible as a knowledge, and does not bring the Bible's scriptures to life. In the constant contact, you can know how do not matter you say, he will never listen to you, even he will not open your things at all.
From the inside we can see a terrible fact: that is, God has made him a highly-proud person, no matter how you say he will never listen. that is, his eyes , ears and hearts have been closed to the Holy Spirit. Of course, we hope that it will not be closed forever, but this is God's sovereignty. We have no right to question.

Dave Hatcher, “The psalm-singer laments over the state of his contemporary culture and civic realm. The kinds of words spoken by men have deteriorated so that vileness is the normal speech, lying is expected, and flattery is required to get you a place at the table of influence. However, God is the Word, speaking all that is into existence and redeeming a people to Himself. Men’s
words employed by deceitful men are a perversion of words as given to us by God for communication, worship, dominion, service, persuasion, enlightenment and revelation. This is why the psalm-singer’s chorus is that God would cut out the lips and tongues of such violators.
This is why the psalm-singer’s refrain is that God would rise up and see His Word vindicated in this generation.”

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

The Book of Joshua is the sixth book in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, and is the first book of the Deuteronomistic history, the story of Israel from the conquest of Canaan to the Babylonian exile.
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
3. Jesus’ questions opened doors
Jesus was the master teacher. He asked
questions that made people stop and think and
examine their partial understandings about
God and the nature of the Kingdom of God.
He also told parables. Jesus taught that way so
people could discover the truths of the
Kingdom of God when they sought God with
all of their hearts.
4. Searching the Word for the truth is an
expression of faithfulness to God
10
As soon as it was night, the brothers sent Paul and
Silas away to Berea. On arriving there, they went to
the Jewish synagogue. 11
Now the Bereans were of
more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they
received the message with great eagerness and
examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul
said was true. 12
Many of the Jews believed, as did
also a number of prominent Greek women and many
Greek men.
Acts 17:10-12
7. Listening to Jesus
Behold, I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears
my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat
with him and he with me. - Revelation 3:20
9. Why would anyone want to pursue
listening to God?
All of us know there is much more we could
be experiencing in our relationship with God.
Our hearts long for a closer, more personal
relationship with God.
Experiencing Listening Prayer helps us move
into that relationship.
10. In the Garden
I come to the garden alone,
While the dew is still on the roses;
And the voice I hear, falling on my ear,
The Son of God discloses.
And He walks with me,
And He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.
11. Does God really speak to ordinary
people on a regular basis?
