2. About Me My Name is Kayla. I have one younger sister named Paige. I just had a baby boy in December, and he looks just like his mama :D I am a psychology major and have been attending MSUM for two years now. I would like to go into helping either children, or helping people with addictions.
3. Interesting Facts I grew up in the town of Monroe which has the only limburger cheese factory in the US. Our high school mascot was the cheese makers. I was a cheerleader for my 6 seasons; 3 football and 3 wrestling. I was able to graduate a semester early and move to college when I was 17.
4. Interesting Facts I love the color purple. My favorite brand of socks is Hanes. My biggest pet peeve is when people “ride your ass” in the lane next to you. Especially when you need to get over. My worst fear is a dark bathroom it has to be the scariest room of the house! I own a white and green toothbrush.
5. Iraq Background Iraq is located in the Middle East and has borders with six different countries. Its terrain consists of mountains, deserts, and river valleys. Their official religion is Islam. Their official language is Arabic Iraq is a male dominated country although women make up 65% of the total population.

Religion & Iraqi Women There is no division or state and religion in Iraq The women live with the oppressions of religion Forced to marry a stranger Wear certain clothing Also must give up their education The women are forced to wear a hijad which is a loose cloth topped by a scarf. It much be worn around the head and under the chin.

Women of Iraq Women hold no power or status in Iraq Women are not allowed to own property They also inherit less than half of what a man would These women are kidnapped, beaten , raped and harassed. These women claim their rights have been limited due to all of the wars that have taken place in Iraq.
