• BODY FUNCTION : They are physiological functions of body system
• BODY STRUCTURE : They are anatomical parts of the body such as organs, limbs and their components.
• IMPAIRMENTS : They are the problems in body function or structure such as a significant deviation or
loss
• ACTIVITY : It is the execution of a task or action by an individuals.
• ACTIVITY LIMITATIONS : They are difficulties an individual may have in executing activities.
• PARTICIPATION RESTRICTIONS : They are problems an individual may experience in involvement in life

8. • A 45 years old male having history of Stroke before 2 months, the complains
according to patient is He is not able to move independents (needs the
support of walker), unable to dress himself, unable to get on the car and right
shoulder pain. Due to stroke he has left his job as his job was of typing. He is
also not able to attain social events like weddings, social gathering etc. On
observation by physiotherapist, he had a flexed upper limb poster with
spasticity on Rt UL and LL. He has also tightness of B/L Hamstrings, Calf.
Patient has difficulty in speaking. On examination of Blood pressure during
that time it was 150/90mmHg (HTN) and patient also had the H/o DM since
10 years. Patient also had the H/o Colle's fracture before 5 years. According to
MRI finding patient had left side fronto-parietal lobe infarction. Patient has a
good family support but he cannot afford fees of therapist/hospital as the
patient is form lower class family.
9. • BODY FUNCTION : speech affected, high blood pressure, DM, Pain on right
shoulder
• BODY STRUCTURE : spasticity, tightness, fracture of radius, left fronto-parietal
lobe infarction
• ACTIVITY LIMITATION : walk independently, dressing, getting in and out of car.
