The document discusses the Kinsey Institute, which was granted consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in 2014. The Institute was founded by Alfred Kinsey, whose research in the 1940s and 50s promoted pedophilia. Critics argue the Institute continues to advocate for unrestrained sexuality, including child sexual abuse. By partnering with the Institute, ECOSOC seeks counsel from an organization that has contributed to and promotes problems ECOSOC aims to eradicate, such as child sex trafficking. A global coalition is calling on ECOSOC to withdraw the Institute's status and investigate its records of child sexual abuse.

Kinsey conducted controversial sex research in the 1940s-1950s that shaped modern views on sexuality. However, his research methods have come under significant criticism. New evidence confirms that Kinsey relied on data from human experiments and the sexual abuse of hundreds of children. Over 80% of his male subjects were from atypical groups like prisoners and sex offenders. His research skewed public understanding and launched the sexual revolution, but the full consequences of his fraudulent data remain an ongoing problem today.
Bernie Kunkel lost his bid for a Republican nomination and blamed it on being painted as a liberal. He receives funding from conservative groups dedicated to "restoring" social values that oppose Alfred Kinsey's research on sexuality. Religious conservatives argue that Kinsey's research in the 1950s helped launch the sexual revolution and blame him for negative cultural changes since. They want to return to a time when sex was not openly discussed. However, openly discussing sex as Kinsey advocated can help protect children by allowing them to report abuse.
The document provides a history of services and treatment of people with developmental disabilities from the mid-1800s to the 1970s. It describes how in the 1800s, people with disabilities were often exhibited for profit and institutionalized in large facilities with poor conditions. In the early 1900s, the eugenics movement promoted sterilization and segregation of people with disabilities. By the 1950s, attitudes began shifting towards community placement and advocacy groups were formed, though institutionalization remained common. The 1960s saw further efforts to reduce institutionalization and increase community services.
ABOUT THIS REPORT
This initial report was produced by Institute for Policy Studies staff in support of the Poor People’s Campaign: A
National Call for Moral Revival (www.PoorPeoplesCampaign.org). This campaign, marking the 50th anniversary of
the Poor People’s Campaign led by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and other leaders, aims to build a broad and
deep national movement rooted in the leadership of the poor and dispossessed as moral agents and reflecting the
great moral teachings to unite our country around a transformative agenda to combat poverty, racism, militarism,
and ecological devastation. We worked in collaboration with the Co-Chairs of the Poor People’s Campaign, Rev. Dr.
William J. Barber, II and Rev. Dr. Liz Theoharis, and the Tri-Chairs of the Campaign's Audit Committee, Rev. Dr.
James Forbes, Dr. Tim Tyson, and Shailly Gupta Barnes.
In the coming months, the Institute for Policy Studies will work with the Poor People’s Campaign to conduct a much
more in-depth “audit” of the structural and systemic causes for what Dr. King called the “Triplets of Evil” — racism,
extreme materialism, and militarism — as well as the interrelated problem of ecological destruction. To learn lessons
for today, we will be hearing testimony and interviewing leaders who’ve been in the middle of the key struggles
for progress of the past 50 years. This analysis will feed into the new Poor People’s Campaign’s efforts to advance
structural solutions to the multiple crises of today.
The document discusses how contraception has contributed to a "culture of death" by separating sexuality from procreation and the family. It argues this has led to a decline in morality, an increase in infidelity and non-marital sexual partners, and the commercialization of sexuality. The document warns that international organizations and governments are promoting population control policies around the world that restrict freedom and devalue motherhood and family.

The document summarizes the changing eras and standards around sexuality, education, and law in America before and after 1948. It discusses how Alfred Kinsey's work in the late 1940s established a new "sex science" field that retrained American science, education, medicine, and law. Kinsey's data and ideas questioning old taboos became the new sexual orthodoxy that shaped sex education, legal reforms, and clinical practice from the 1950s onward. The document outlines how Kinsey's influence spread through law reviews, journals, and expert witnesses that applied his work in courts.

The document discusses unwed mothers in India and the debate around their legal status. It defines an unwed mother as an unmarried person who has a dependent child or children. Currently, Indian law considers children of unwed mothers to be "surrendered children." There is debate around whether the term "woman" in laws protecting women's rights should also apply to unwed mothers. While some argue it should only apply to wives or married women, the Supreme Court has stated that a beneficial interpretation is needed to include all women given the protective intention of such laws.
Women, Development, and the UN United Nations Intellectual History Project Dr Lendy Spires
This document summarizes the history of women's involvement with the United Nations and its efforts to promote gender equality and women's rights. It discusses how a small number of women helped ensure women's issues were included in the UN Charter. Over subsequent decades, the UN held global women's conferences, established organizations focused on women, and worked to promote policies like CEDAW that advanced women's rights. While progress was made, challenges remained, such as the negative impacts of structural adjustment programs in the 1980s. The UN continues striving to achieve full equality and justice for women worldwide.

This document discusses the rise of sensitivity training programs in schools and outlines concerns that it is being used as a form of brainwashing or thought reform to promote values of collectivism and undermine American culture and traditions. It traces the origins of sensitivity training to techniques used by organizations like the Illuminati and Soviets and describes how groups like the UN, NEA, and CFR are coordinating to implement these programs on a national scale through policies and teacher training requirements. Critics argue sensitivity training amounts to "insensitivity training" and is a perversion of therapy that can make healthy minds sick.

The article discusses the ethics of disability, dependency, and practices like eugenics and selective reproduction from multiple perspectives. It references views that see disability as a burden and analyze defenses of eugenics. The author argues these views are problematic as they essentialize health and see disability as uniquely difficult. While individuals may feel this way, expressing such views can be unethical by reinforcing harmful norms. The author draws on works by Dembroff and Kittay to argue we should have normative commitments to all people, not just those deemed healthy or independent. Overall, the article makes the case that disability and dependency are morally important aspects of human diversity that society should support rather than try to eliminate.

Overall, the article makes the case that disability and dependency are morally important aspects of human diversity that society should support rather than try to eliminate.

ECOSOC, The Kinsey Institute and Child
Sexual Abuse
System: United Nations
On April 23, 2014, the Kinsey Institute, whose founders argue that “children are sexual
beings….sexual from the word go….sexual from birth,” was granted consultative status by the
United Nations Committee on Non-governmental Organizations (CNO) of the Economic and
Social Council (ECOSOC). By creatively presenting the Institute’s history and mission in order
to obtain its global lobbying status (see the discussion infra), it follows in the footsteps of its
founder Alfred C. Kinsey, who misled the world with his theories promoting pedophilia in
Sexual Behavior in the Human Male (1948) and Sexual Behavior in the Human Female (1953).
The Institute’s application, however, was not without criticism from those working for the well-being
of children and a campaign is ongoing to shed light on the ideologies peddled from the
credible global platform it has now mounted. As a consultant to ECOSOC composed of 54 UN
member States and one of the six principal organs of the United Nations, the Kinsey Institute is
officially part of the “central forum for discussing international economic and social issues , and
for formulating policy recommendations”. The Institute’s worldview has been influencing
United Nations’ policy for some time through SIECUS, which helped UNESCO develop
comprehensive global “sex education” guidelines promoting masturbation “birth to five” as part
of infants’ “own specific sexuality.”
As a new ECOSOC consultant the Kinsey Institute portrays itself as the global human sexuality
expert which possesses distinctive “credentials” in the field of sex research. This claim brings to
mind President Abraham Lincoln when he presciently warned of the dangers posed by such
“distinctive” players:
But new reapers will arise, and they, too, will seek a field….expect, that some man possessed of
the loftiest genius, coupled with ambition sufficient to push it to its utmost stretch, will at some
time, spring up among us….Towering genius disdains a beaten path. It seeks regions hitherto
unexplored …. It thirsts and burns for distinction….And when such a one does [spring up], it
will require the people to be united with each other, attached to the government and laws; and
generally intelligent, to successfully frustrate his designs. Distinction will be his paramount
2. object…[with] nothing left to be done in the way of building up, he would set boldly to the task
of pulling down.
The Kinsey Institute may be described as a “new reaper”. Its “unexplored region” is the “field”
of human sexuality and it ambitiously promotes sexual ideologies, rather than objective facts. In
essence, the Institute reduces the complexity of human personality to the sphere of irrational
mechanistic acts of “human animals.” Unfortunately, such distortions of the human person and
authentic human sexuality have been accepted worldwide under the guise of science, rather than
advocacy attempts to promote the ideology of unrestrained sexuality.
Of grave concern is the fact that the Institute recently argued before the CNO that it was not an
advocacy organization, but rather, a research organization that promotes responsible sexual
behavior and works to advance sexual health. Based upon these submissions, the Kinsey
Institute gained consultative status within ECOSOC.
This line of argumentation is perhaps the least dangerous incidence of misrepresentation
practiced by the Kinsey Institute in the last 60 years. Most troubling is Kinsey’s sanctioning and
concealment of systematic child sexual abuse, mostly of boys, as young as two months old,
beginning in the 1930s. In keeping with its “scientific” report of sexuality in the human
“animal,” Kinsey blithely publishes his “findings” of “orgasms” in infants and children in Tables
30-34 on pages 175-180 in Sexual Behavior in the Human Male. Table 34 is reproduced below:
Utilizing the data in these tables and other equally questionable “findings ,” Kinsey has created a
“field” that advocates for normalization of sex between adults and children, including infants and
youths as well as sex with animals. Indeed, Kinsey himself, viewed morality based standards of
“normal” and “abnormal” as non-pragmatic, unrealistic and unenforceable. Unfortunately, such a
3. perspective has become the seed of a social contagion that has infected the law, medicine,
education, the media as well as religious and cultural institutions worldwide. As Lincoln
predicted in 1838, this “new reaper” has pushed his agenda “to its utmost stretch” commencing
with Nazi Germany when Kinsey’s “findings” regarding child “orgasms” were based in part
upon “comprehensive reports” provided by Dr. Fritz von Balluseck. Kinsey’s own hand written
notes are telling when he received Balluseck’s records of child abuse with responses such as
“thank you” and “be careful (or “watch out”)” for the authorities.
Since Kinsey’s death in 1956, the Institute that bears his name, located at Indiana University, has
continued his global sexual outreach and advocacy for unrestrained sexuality despite the
economic costs to society. This includes a recently launched mobile app, which invites people
around the globe to anonymously submit their citizen “research” of any and all of their sexual
activities, not excluding rape, child sexual abuse or other sex crimes, to be electronically
“mapped” and shared with the world.
At no point in time has either the Institute or Indiana University disavowed Kinsey’s affiliation
with Balluseck or others who advocate for pedophilia and/or have sexually abused children
under the guise of research. Thousands of records of sex crimes against children are alleged to
exist in the archives at Indiana University Institute, however, officials of this Institute have
consistently refused to open their records for inspection or investigation. Both Kinsey’s co-author
Wardell Pomeroy, former Institute Director Paul Gebhard and photographer Clarence
Tripp, have stated that they would destroy the records, rather than release them. Moreover,
numerous attempts by the United States Congress to investigate the Institute’s activities have
been thwarted. Indeed, perpetrators remain at large while the number of victims continue to
mount.
It is particularly, noteworthy that Dr. Laura J. Lederer, senior advisor on Trafficking, Office for
Global Affairs, U.S. Department of State has acknowledged that Kinsey’s body of work (now
being carried out by the Kinsey Institute) commenced a sexual revolution that has contributed at
least in part to the epidemic of child sex-trafficking that now plagues the international
community. Consequently, by partnering with the Kinsey Institute, ECOSOC and its 54 member
states seek counsel from an organization that has contributed to and continues to promote the
very problems ECOSOC members are seeking to eradicate.
In response, a global contingent of concerned parents, government and civic leaders, lawmakers,
researchers and victims of sexual crimes have formed the Stop the Kinsey Institute Coalition to
call upon ECOSOC to withdraw the Institute’s NGO recognition. The Coalition published a brief
entitled The Kinsey Institute Exposed: A Warning to Parents & Governments Throughout the
World, and established a “Petition to World Leaders” advising the relevant governments about
the harmful effects of the Kinsey Institute. The work of this coalition reflects the need for
ECOSOC and the United Nations to seriously reconsider the Kinsey Institute’s consultative
status and to reflect upon whether to promote experts in the child protection community to
review the records of the same Institute.
Each UN Members State and State Party to the Convention on the Rights of the Child should
question the Institute’s participation as a consultative NGO and call for a prompt investigation.
