- 3. IPC Inlet Protection Company Expander Inlet Protector • Three standard sized units are available: 3', 5', and 10’ • Custom sizes and configurations are available. • Our devices can be installed on radius curbs.
- 4. IPC Inlet Protection Company ATest Exceeded 1st Test 1 ½” nozzle 70 psi = 503 gpm Duration: 15 minutes Results: The water did not back up past the Curb Apron during this test. The flow was constant through the device. 2nd Test 2’ nozzle at 70 psi = 895 gpm Duration: 5 minutes Results: The water backup was 1’ foot in front of the Curb Apron toward the street. The flow was constant through the device 3rd Test 2 ½” nozzle at 70 psi = 1398 gpm Duration: 5 minutes Results: The water went over the top of the curb at a low point just beyond the Curb Inlet at the end of 5 minutes.
