Airport Botswana has implemented strict security measures and procedures to protect the airport. These include perimeter fencing and gates to restrict access, as well as guard towers and CCTV cameras. Inside the airport, entrance doors and a passenger waiting area are monitored. Cash is stored securely offsite to prevent robbery, and all counter information is centrally stored for data protection. Passengers are screened and restrictions apply to liquids and certain hazardous items in cabin baggage.
