This document provides directions for students to make inferences and draw conclusions about characters after reading a text. Students are instructed to fill out T-charts under different character names to note any inferences made about each character and cite textual clues that helped them draw each conclusion. The T-charts will guide students in forming conclusions about the characters of Chankara, Tyrone, Lupe and Gloria, Devon and Janelle, and Raul and Diondra based on evidence from the text.
