01
we are on a mission.
We promote sustainable business ethics and livable wages
among the service industries through playful irreverence
and community involvement.
02
we are about all kinds of things.
Through our shared passions and experiences we sustain an un-
waivering community. Our members take pride in their work and
would rather be doing it than any other profession. Currently our tribe
exists across the nation and we are all 18+. Our community consists of
all genders, sexuality, identity and lifestyles. We are pretty cool.
The service industry works and thrives because of our differenes.
We are clean cut and tattooed. We win over your mother during
lunch rush and blast Mastadon during closing. We are juice
cleansers and whisky shooters.
03
Raul has worked in the service industry his
entire life. He started out as a bus boy at a
sports bar and is now a chef at Jefferys.
Though he is not in charge of hiring, his
company uses Industry Tab to find new hires.
Since he is very satisfied with his job Raul
won’t look for new jobs, but he will use the
website to read reviews in order to improve
workplace dynamic. Since Raul values his
family, he wants to get involved in Industry
Tabs initative to increase the living wage.

THE PROFESSIONAL | RAUL, 36 | JEFFEREY’S | CHEF04
Everyone knows Sara. She doesnt just work at
a bar, she works for bar families. She doesnt
really need to fill out applications or even
interview at places. This is why Sara won’t
be applying via Industry Tab, but she will be
looking at what places are hiring. She heard
about the website when she worked an event
during SXSW and a coworker told her about
employer reviews on Industry Tab. She is
really into this because she wants to support
the businesses and the people that have been
good to her within the industry.
Community is
everything”

THE PART-TIMER | TIM, 21 | SERVER | CHILI’S
The Part-Timer. Tim is a full time student and
does not have time to work more than 20
hours a week. He waits tables at a Mexican
restaurant. When school is out of session,
Tim is ravenous for extra hours in order to
save up for when he can’t work as much
during finals. The most important value Tim
needs in an employer is flexibility. Because of
this, he usually ends up working at corporate
establishments where he feels undervalued
and taken advantage of in many situations.

Our logo works just as
hard as our users.
But we all have to draw
the line somewhere.
treat it nice.
10
02
We look really good on
a red circle
01
Always give our logo
breathing room. It
works better that way.
03
But reversing the
color really makes
us look bloated.
04
Don’t try to pull any
cheap tricks on us.

Keep the cap height in
porportion of 1/3 to the
height of the logo.

Make sure the logo is
legible on photography.
07
Always keep the type on a
single, contained line.
