Poul Knudsgaard is the site manager of MAN Diesel & Turbo's Frederikshavn site in Denmark. He has over 30 years of experience in the marine engineering field, including various roles at MAN B&W Diesel and as the technical director of RAIS A/S. Under his leadership, the Frederikshavn site has transitioned from a factory to a service and knowledge-based business, establishing PrimeServ as its aftersales brand and developing an extensive network of service hubs worldwide. The site now employs over 500 people in propeller and gear production, as well as aftersales service, and has made continued investments in research, training facilities, and new product designs.

En svær dag at turde tro på mulighederne
Dagen i dag er en tung og træls dag, som alle skal have lov til at fordøje i eget tempo.
På vejen herop i morges hørte jeg P4 - Programmet med Hans Otto Bisgaard.
Op til kl. 6 radioavisen sluttede han som vanligt af med "et ord til dagen og vejen".
I dag var det et citat fra den amerikanske skuespiller Whoppi Goldberg:
"I am where I am because I believe in all possibilities!" eller på dansk "Jeg er der hvor jeg er fordi
jeg tror på alle muligheder"
Jeg synes faktisk det var et rigtig godt citat, der udtrykker, hvad vi alle skal i gang med, så snart vi har
fordøjet denne svære dag.
For alle - og især for de afskedigede - gælder det om at turde tro på at der er andre "muligheder".
For os i ledelsen gælder det om, at se mulighederne i de henvendelser vi har fået med ønsker/forslag til
at starte ny produktion op i vore produktionsarealer.
Her er det især et salg af støberiet, der står først for, og som vi gør alt for, at få en afklaring på hurtigst
muligt.
Det er mit håb, at vi i fællesskab kan bevare troen på mulighederne - og hver især og i fælles skab får
skabt noget nyt. Men indtil noget nyt er skabt - så tag vare på hinanden - Poul.
