This document lists many reputable journal indexing organizations and databases that provide high quality indexing of scholarly journals. It includes well known organizations such as PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, DOAJ and subject specific databases like PsycINFO, Embase and CABI. The document warns of some fake indexing services that have emerged and charge publication fees without providing proper indexing services. It encourages journals to only work with recognized and reputable indexing sources.

biomedical sciences.
Ovid: Ovid is a branch of Wolters Kluwer. Ovid databases cover a wide range of topics
including clinical medicine, pharmacology.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL OF THE MANY FAKE INDEXING SERVICES that have sprung up
over the last few years. These will usually ask for a payment of some kind. AJOL
