The document is a letter from Sri Ramakrishna Samagra Shikshana Kendra, an integrated school in Bangalore, India that educates mentally challenged, deaf, and normal children together. The school helps the children correct themselves and face society confidently. For their 2006-2007 project, the students participated in Earth Hour by convincing their parents and neighbors to turn off lights for one hour to help the environment. They also collected signatures and started using energy efficient CFL bulbs.

2. INTRODUCTION
Sri Ramakrishna Samagra Shikshana Kendra, (Primary and
High School) Gottigere, Bannerughatta Road, Bangalore-83. Is an
Integrated school of mentally challenged (border line) dumb and
hearing impaired along with normal children. This has helped the
children to Correct themselves and face the society boldly.
We would like to write to you that our school has already
started creating awareness taking up one problem as a Project and
spread the message to society and trying humbly in our own way
to change the attitude of the people.

3. PROJECT-3 TOPIC 2006-07
“ EARTH HOUR ”
Our students decided to take Part honestly in ‘Earth hour’
Programme. They not only convinced their parents but also their
neighbours and they switched off lights for one hour. Thus they joined
hands for the cause of saving Environment.
In this regard our students has collected signatures of the
people who took part in the programme ( copy Enclosed. )
Thay have discarded using usual bulbs instead of that have started
using CFL bulbs and helping to reduce power consumtion
