The children of GPS Bandalguda in Kamati pura decided to clean their school grounds that had become unclean, with garbage vehicles occupying space in the small two-room school. On October 24, 2010, the 5th grade students swept the school clean and then removed the small garbage vehicles that were parked on school grounds one by one, freeing up more space for studying comfortably. They shared their efforts with the headmaster and community members, having gotten permission from the MCH department to move the vehicles.
