Our Class VII A
LIGHTENING THE LOAD
1: Feel: Though there were many problems right from pollution, traffic jam etc., the top most was the weight of our own school bag.2: Imagine: As soon as the problem was identified the solutions came in plenty. Like Change the timetable/have a locker at school/filing system/use lifts/lap-top etc.Now we were in a mess of solutions till one of us suggested to set the conditions for the solution first. Our conditions were: 1. Minimum cost + more effect 2.NO inconvenience, expenditure to the school 3. NO change in timetable in middle of the academic year 4. Trial basis run only for one of the 3 sections.
3 Do:…. The solution was just in front of our eyes all the time!!! One look at our 200 page notebooks set us to find the actual number of pages we have used till now and PRESTO! we had the result.
Solution 1: 80 page notebooks for all the subjects. We got the permission from our teachers and parents and enquired in the market, learned to bargain. GOAL ACHIEVED WEIGHT REDUCTION=From 3 Kgs to 1 Kg---------------------------------------------------------------------Solution 2: Can we achieve further? Yes! and this time we discussed with our subject teachers and proceeded to rebind the books with only the SA2 Chapters. GOAL ACHIEVED WEIGHT REDUCTION=From 2.5 Kgs to 1 Kg
