The Captain of our salvation is interceding for His people. He is not a petitioner moving the Father's compassion, but a conqueror, who claims the trophies of His victory.
Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25.
The great Captain of our salvation has conquered in our behalf, that through Him we might conquer, if we would, in our own behalf. But Christ saves none against their choice. He compels none to obedience. Jesus made the infinite sacrifice that His followers might overcome in His name and His righteousness be imputed unto them.

Bestselling author Max Lucado also adds some introductory insights. Through these 31 video sessions, The Story small group study opens your eyes to God’s master plan as it unfolds in the lives of the Bible’s characters. It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

went up from Galilee, out of the city
of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the
city of David, which is called
Bethlehem; (because he was of the
house and lineage of David:)
82. To be taxed with Mary his espoused
wife, being great with child. And so it
was, that, while they were there, the
days were accomplished that she
should be delivered.
83. And she brought forth her firstborn
son, and wrapped him in swaddling
clothes, and laid him in a manger;
because there was no room for them
in the inn. And there were in the same
country shepherds abiding in the
field, keeping watch over their flock
by night.
84. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came
upon them, and the glory of the Lord
shone round about them: and they
were sore afraid. And the angel said
unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I
bring you good tidings of great joy,
which shall be to all people.
85. For unto you is born this day in the
city of David a Saviour, which is Christ
the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto
you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in
swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
86. And suddenly there was with the
angel a multitude of the heavenly
host praising God, and saying,
Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace,
good will toward men.
87. And it came to pass, as the angels
were gone away from them into
heaven, the shepherds said one to
another, Let us now go even unto
Bethlehem, and see this thing which
is come to pass, which the Lord hath
made known unto us.
88. And they came with haste, and found
Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying
in a manger. And when they had seen
it, they made known abroad the
saying which was told them
concerning this child.
89. And all they that heard it wondered at
those things which were told them by
the shepherds. But Mary kept all
these things, and pondered them in
her heart.
90. And the shepherds returned,
glorifying and praising God for all the
things that they had heard and seen,
as it was told unto them.
93. …Fear not: for, behold, I
bring you good tidings of
great joy, which shall be to
all people.
This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will
rejoice and be glad in it
Psalms 118:24
95. For unto you is born this day
in the city of David a Saviour,
which is Christ the Lord.
But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent
forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
Galatians 4:4
97. Glory to God in the
highest,
and on earth peace,
good will toward men.
…we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by
whom we have now received the atonement.
Romans 5:11

99. 1. Are you celebrating the salvation that God
has provided through His Son Jesus – so that

Fulfillment in Matthew 1:1 - The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
Remember Abraham had 2 sons – Ishmael and Isaac – what son would Jesus come from?
Again, Isaac had 2 sons, Jacob and Esau
Jacob (Israel) had 12 sons and a daughter. Where would Jesus’s come from? Israel at the end of his life bless each of his sons. During the blessing in Genesis chapter 49, he made this statement as part of the blessing to Judah.
Was Jesus pre-ordained to die? Was the vision of the Cross at the Manger?
Video setup. Question: Was the Bible the only source that predicted the birth of Jesus? This is a controversial statement – but according to sources – here is a prophecy from the Buddha.
