Mario was diagnosed with dengue.
The doctor talked to Mario’s parents
and advised them to look for blood
type AB which is currently not
available at the hospital
Situation No. 2
A factory worker voluntarily underwent
HIV testing. The result shows that the
worker is positive with the infection. He
reported about it to the administration.
He is now hearing discriminatory
remarks from the co-workers.
Apparently, the administrator spread the
news of his condition to the workers
Situation No. 3
Jose is the breadwinner of the family. He
works as a construction worker during the day
and a balut vendor during the night. One day
while on his way to his work with his bicycle,
he stumbled down when a black cat crossed
his way. As a result, he got cuts and bruises
on his knees. He did not consult a doctor due
to lack of money.
Situation No.4
Angeline is pregnant with her second child.
Because of poverty, she did not experience to
have consultations with a physician. She
opted to deliver at home than in any birthing
clinic. Because of home delivery, she and her
baby suffered from complications, and
infections
It is very important that people
should be knowledgeable and well-
informed about these laws in order
to avoid the negative impacts that
people may experience due to the
