I had the pleasure of working with Markel Norwood for many years during his tenure at MIS lmplants
Technologies, Inc. Markel brings some unique qualities to any position and I would like to hishlieht
them here.
Markel started with MIS lmplants in September of 2010 as a customer service representative. He came
to us from a completely different industry, but was a quick study and mastered not only different
software, but also the technical/biological nature of our business and our products. His knowledge
allowed him to become a Senior Customer Service representative in a short period of time and he
adeptly handled technical and escalated calls.
When he became the supervisor for the customer service department, he instituted weekly training
meetings, thereby increasing product knowledge for the team and setting expectations. He continued
to develop and monitor KPls to improve the performance of the team overall. Markel understood the
strengths and weaknesses of the individual members of his team and utilized their talents in the most
efficient way.
Due to changes within our company's infrastructure, the position Markel held was eliminated earlier this
month. His absence is a loss for the company'
I can confidently recommend tvtarkel as a loyal and competent employee.
