The Forgotten Witness is a 2012 British thriller film directed by Jason Bell. The 94-minute film tells the story of Nate, who witnessed his mother's murder as a young boy but blocked the traumatic memory from his mind. Ten years later, a psychologist tries to help Nate unlock his repressed memory in hopes of solving the cold case. The film stars Nathan Boothroyd as Nate and Daniel Rayson as the psychologist attempting to help him recover his lost memory and find closure.

STORY LINE
When only a young boy, Nate paid witness to a horrific crime, being too much for his fragile
young conscious mind to handle, the murder of his mother was locked deep within his
unconscious memory, cocooned away never to be resurfaced, a protection mechanism some
would argue, so with no leads or any evidence the case was closed and young Nate was taken
into care. 10 years on interest into to the case has brought the leading UK psychologist
knocking on Nates door, taking him back to the place where it all happened, can Lucas finally
bring justice to those who deserve it? And can he finally bring a lost young boy the closure he
