Deception q&a how to judge revelation for dreamsDanielle Price
This document provides a checklist for judging whether a dream, vision, or prophetic word is deceptive or from God. It lists 10 points to check a revelation against, including whether it brings fear, condemnation, demands immediate action, overrides free will, or causes confusion. Any revelation that has one of these points should be treated with caution and checked against scripture. The most important check is to discern the spirit behind the revelation using the gift of discernment, and proceed only if there is a positive feeling rather than unease.
This document discusses the concept of faith from a Christian perspective. It defines faith as not being optimism, hope, knowledge or presumption, but rather as accessing the supernatural dimension given by God. It says we have a choice to walk by faith or by sight, and walking by faith pleases God. It provides signs that someone is walking by faith, such as resting in God rather than worrying, and having conviction about realities not yet seen. It encourages readers to exercise faith now by disconnecting the mind and having an appetite for the impossible. It concludes by inviting readers to accept Jesus Christ if they have not already done so.
Based on "Respectable Sins" by Jerry Bridges, this lesson addresses the sins of anxiety (fear), worry, and frustration (anger). God cares about us and wants us to cast all our fears on Him because of His care for us. Dealing with these sins in a biblical fashion is the focus of the lesson.

The document discusses a 6-week lesson on responding to God's call based on the story of Jonah. It explores how Jonah initially disobeyed God's call to preach to Nineveh but later obeyed. The goals are to understand obeying God allows one to fulfill their role in His mission and to evaluate ways one says no to God. It includes discussion questions about justifying disobeying God and being obedient as a teenager. It also reviews the key lessons that God's call never cancels, obeying allows participation in His mission, and obeying is always right regardless of feelings. Finally, it previews an activity asking students to consider who their own "Ninevites" are.

This document provides guidance on grounding and protection. It discusses that grounding means connecting to one's physical human experience to avoid being overwhelmed by spiritual or other energies. Examples of unconscious grounding include children stamping their feet or flapping hands. Meditation, earthing by walking barefoot, and joyful self-care can also help ground. Protection means honoring one's energy by setting firm boundaries and saying no when needed. Affirmations and establishing boundaries through self-care are recommended for protection.

This document provides an introduction to the principles of successful living. It discusses that these principles are universal truths that exist independently of human beliefs and can be discovered and used to improve one's life. The principles are not unique to any particular group, religion, or time period. Chapter 1 notes that the teachings should be viewed scientifically and tested through application rather than blind faith. The basic theory presented is that a universal mind exists both surrounding and within humans, and that when a person thinks, their thoughts set a universal spiritual law in motion to materialize what they think.

What are your basic assumptions about human nature?
My basic assumption about human nature is that even though none of us are perfect, we all strive for our own idea of perfection. By working too much towards how we think we should be it can cause stress, anxiety, depression and other mental health issues and often these are the root cause of them. Humans are beautifully imperfect and while, yes, oftentimes we all have behaviors to be altered, we need to embrace ourselves with love and kindness. It is easy to give someone else our love, patience and kindness, but if we turn that inward we can be the best version of ourselves, perfect or not.
Which approach to therapy is closest to your beliefs about human nature?
The therapy that is closest to my beliefs about human nature is existential therapy. "Existential therapy focuses on exploring themes such as mortality, meaning, freedom, responsibility, anxiety, and aloneness as these relate to a person’s current struggle." (Corey, 2013). Existential therapy looks at the bigger picture of humanity and encourages celebration and appreciation of our successes rather than focusing on downfalls.
In what ways do you believe that your basic assumptions might determine the procedures that you would use when working with clients?
My basic assumptions will help me to focus on the good in my clients and not the negative that they themselves may focus on. It will give me a better understanding of why people feel their own shortcomings and how to show them that there is good and valuable qualities in everyone.

When you look into the mirror, you are checking how you appear, and how you feel and whether it matches. Human nature is the sum of our whole species looking in the mirror. Human nature includes 3 core characteristics shared by all individuals; feelings, behaviors, and psychology. Our experiences with humans are different. Some view humans as good or bad or capable of great kindness. These views can be clouded by what our culture tells us and by people's influences in our lives. In western cultures, our discussions usually begin with classical Greece; Aristotle and Plato (Claudia, 2021).
My basic assumptions about human nature is that we can survive from our past and that humans are generally kind creatures and extremely resilient. I believe that humans construct their reality. They do not have to be destined to a certain life based solely on their past circumstances. We have the ability to overcome mountains of challenges with proper thinking and behaviors. We are responsible creatures for our choices and can therefore change and become something. I am proof of these assumptions. My teenage years were so bad that I lost my identity and lacked the proper social developments that most teens have. According to Corey, (2013.

you will experience less anger if you choose groups whose rules you can follow easily. Not only will this help you, it will also translate into less harm to those around you as well.
Dreams come from the soul and are intended to help people progress along their life path by making changes suggested by the soul. However, the subconscious mind often interferes with this process by providing reasons in dreams for why the suggested changes should be avoided. The subconscious does this unconsciously to retain control over areas it sees itself as protecting. This protection comes at a high price of limiting awareness. Gaining awareness involves eliminating subconscious control in various areas of life, though dreams can help by showing how past experiences still influence behavior and how to change for the better.

The document is an excerpt from a conversation between Sadhguru and a questioner about maintaining enthusiasm for spiritual practice over time. Sadhguru explains that initial experiences can overwhelm a person, but that enthusiasm wanes as judgments of likes and dislikes develop. Regular spiritual practice requires ongoing discipline to avoid limiting oneself through thought and emotion. Sadhguru encourages renewing the initial experience by sitting in an open, non-judgmental way and implementing the Inner Engineering process daily before meditation. With this approach, profound experiences can be rekindled.

Feeling is a pathway to feeling and understanding. We and we do it all the time and it, respectively
with the ego beliefs themselves. As we create this state we create an area of well beingness around
us.
We want you to be able to make a quantum leap in your ability to manifest. The last article,
Beginning to Use the Law of Attraction, focused on being in the now and energy. These are abilities
we all can practice, whether beginner or advanced practitioner. But today, we want to talk about
totally changing your view of the world. This will blow the top off all your previous attempts to
become a master manifestor.
This is the first in a series of 10 weekly articles that will focus on selected lessons from a course in
miracles (ACIM): Workbook for Students. There are 365 lessons in the workbook that are meant to
be completed daily over the course of a full year, but I will only be focusing on 10 of those 365
lessons.
Reaching my limit was a miracle. (My favorite definition of "miracle" is from A Course in Miracles: "a
shift in perception.") I finally shifted my perception of myself to someone allowed to stop. Someone
for whom it is safe to stop. Someone who can stop constantly moving, tend only to her needs, and
survive it. Just for a while.
Either you or God must now be mistaken. Feeling conflicted comes from wondering who is lying. Yet
if God is who He is, and He's mistaken, then you have to hate Him. Hating is fearing. Further conflict
is inevitable because now you're backed in corner, and anything feeling cornered will attack. You
justify attack to take back what you want because now, it's all beyond God's help. Feeling alone and
depressed stem from this law.
Fear is a course in miracles audio focus on what is not desired. A focus on what is not desired puts
us in vibrational harmony with what is not desired. We fill our field with thoughts and emotions that
serve as attractors for exactly what we don't want. At the same time, the love of God is flowing to us.
It isn't attracting our heart's desires to us because we are cutting off the energy with our fearful
thoughts and beliefs.
2. acim is aimed at the decision maker in the mind. The whole point is that you have a choice of which
side of the mind to listen to and use for interpretation. That is all that ever happened to begin with.
It was a choice to listen, believe and choose judgments of the ego that separation happened and the
ensuing sin, guilt and fear. Judgments can be dismissed as easily as you dismiss anything else you do
not want because they are not real.
The previous lesson statements here should be any believer's, and common thinkers, first clue as to
how wrong these lessons are. Talk about your daily dose of pride. But, this is why so many desperate
people who don't want a set of rules (namely God's rules) to live by are turning to this teaching. They
are being built up and taught that nothing can hurt them because it is all in their mind. Because they
are taught that they are God, they are then free to make up any excuse for all the strange and
unexplained occurrences in their life. This part of the lesson completes the creating of a fantasy land
for these students where the world revolves around them - literally.
