How many times you have thought to be working for yourself?
How many times you have thought that you can do a better job as a businessman?

How many have you buried an idea in your mind because of family pressure, lack of capital, and
risk involved being in business?
How often you have cursed yourself for not having any prior business knowledge or so called
‘JUGAAD’ to be a business man?
These are the questions which every individual comes across while thinking of being a
businessman or uses as excuse to undermine his/her capabilities. Our country is full of business
enthusiasts who not only have innovative ideas but also have a great amount of zeal to pursue
them. I have myself experienced that lack of capital is one of the major reasons why so many
potentially great business ideas are not able to start or they fail within a year of starting. To
address this problem we need people who are ready to invest in these ideas and provide a
platform for people to realize their potential.
My dream is to become an Angel Investor and help business ideas which
are not only profitable but also sustainable and environment friendly. I
want to see a return on my investment but also remain motivated to see
new and perhaps innovative businesses get off the ground and succeed.
I want to get involved with an idea not only in monetary terms but also
provide help in transforming an idea into a business model. The business
knowledge which I will acquire while studying post-graduation will enable
me to analyze the business aspect of an idea and identify the challenges.

2. Area of Focus:-
Rural India provides ample of opportunities as well as challenges for the budding
entrepreneurs. A big percentage of our population still resides in the rural areas.Thus, there is a
need to create and satisfy rural markets and infrastructure needs in a sustainable manner. Lots
of innovative minds are working keeping the rural India in their mind. The benefit of investing in
rural areas is multi fold as the business model needs a limited amount of capital as well as the
market is huge. I would like to invest in such an idea which could possibly solve problems faced
by the people residing in rural areas. Ideas including rain water harvesting, harnessing solar
energy, creating products like earthen refrigerators can be implemented in a limited amount
and can be quiet profitable.
How Godrej LOUD can help?
The winning amount will help me in creating a web portal where people with innovative idea
can submit their ideas. To organize a meet where all the people selected in the first round can
present their ideas. The remaining amount will be given to the person with best idea and an all-
round support to transform that idea into a business model. The model will be floated as a LIVE
project for the MBA students to gather useful insights. The implementation and the execution
of the model will be done in sync with the person and a team(selected MBA students from LIVE
project) with required knowledge base.
