I am pleased to have this opportunity to write a letter of recommendation for Ihor Hreskiv. Ihor started
with us at the end of his spring 2012 semester as a summer intern. We manage financial assets and
utilize investment models driven by various criteria – e.g. risk parameters, amount of investible assets,
qualified vs. non-qualified money and so on. Ihor was tasked with computerizing these models in an
interactive format that would allow for asset investment, account rebalancing, and client reporting.
Ihor worked tirelessly on the project and his contribution to our firm was invaluable. He is a complete
self-starter, highly motivated, and strives always to produce work of exceptional quality. He was
working with sensitive client data, and we found him to have the utmost level of integrity. He fit in well
with all of the staff, and the summer internship evolved into a project lasting a little over a year.
Ihor’s core strength is in quantitative analysis (although he did recommend Tesla to me back when it
was trading at around $30!). I think Ihor would be a valuable asset to any organization, particularly in
the areas such as quantitative analysis, portfolio analysis and risk management, or trading support.
