What is it?
A professional association founded in April
2008 that supports administrative staff in the
University of Texas at Austin who want to
demonstrate the power of the individual by
performing high quality work that lends itself
to the mission of UT. We have two values at
our core: “i” represents the individual, and
“Forty” represents the university campus. We
believe administrative professionals can be a
defining asset to our institution through
professional development and networking.
Events
iForty has monthly events called “Orange
Bags” where we provide opportunities for
training, mentoring, and networking with
other professionals across campus. They are
typically held during the lunch hour at a central
location on campus, and focus on providing
resources to enhance our members’ skills and
abilities. Orange Bag meetings are led by our
officers and feature occasional guest speakers
from outside the UT community.
