2. Negative Effects Of Eutrophication
Abstract: In order to better understand cultural eutrophication a lab was performed on aquatic
systems and the concentration of nutrients in those systems. The lab was analyzed once a week for
a total time of two weeks. After the two weeks, a trend (treatments with higher concentrations of
fertilizer had a higher cell count and lower pH) was discovered and noted the results.
Introduction:
Eutrophication is a natural process that lakes and certain bodies of water undergo. Eutrophication
happens by having a significant level of biodegradable waste in a body of water. The nutrients in the
water promote growth of primary producers which has a positive impact on consumers. These
nutrients usually cause bodies of water to be cloudy, turbid, have a high number of primary
producers, and promote the excessive growth of algae (Koechli, 2015). This then causes the body
of water to reduce its dissolved oxygen level, and dead biomass to accumulate. Although it is a
natural process, humans can affect these bodies of water by inserting a surplus of nutrients. This
process is called cultural eutrophication, which is considered a form of water pollution (Koechli,
2015). This pollution is often caused by fertilizer run off and much more. It causes the overgrowth
of aquatic plants. These plants quickly become crowded and have to compete for space and
sunlight. Because of this, aquatic life is threatened due to the low dissolved oxygen, and blocked
sunlight. Cultural eutrophication is

3. Challenges Facing Canadian Organizations
Canada. They are the world s largest producer of newsprint, nickel, and asbestos. Montreal,
Toronto, and Vancouver are rated some of the best cities in the world. There is also Canadian
Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), which bring us Canadians radio and television broadcasts the
news, music, and entertainment. (Schwind, 2010, p. 3)
Even though Canada is a leader and a top competitor around the world in regards to business,
resources, talent, and innovation, there are still many challenges facing Canadian organizations. In
this paper I will discuss the many ways that Canada, from a business stand point and as whole,
faces challenges and what we as a country are doing to rise and succeed through these challenges.
There are five major ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Not only is there internet, many companies also have intranet, which are a private information
network within the company. The mix of telecommunicating and intranet increase communication
and information knowledge between members of an organization to also increase productivity.
Automation is the automatically controlled operation of a process, system, or equipment by
mechanical or electronic devices. The two major reasons for automation is speed and better
service. In some capital equipment items, Canada takes six to twelve months to make, where
Japan takes six to twelve weeks. (Schwind, 2010, p. 10) This is a major challenge that Canada
must face. The service factor is continuous. A machine is programed to do the same exact operation
over and over to ensure quality and effectiveness, where as a human might make an error on one or
more areas of the operation. Another challenge with technology and automation is cost. Machines
are expensive and not all companies can afford the high tech equipment, and therefore must rely on
manual labour.
Demographic challenges include the changes associated with the labour force, such as education
levels, age, and participation levels which occur slowly and are usually known in advance. The
number of female workers in the workforce has greatly increased over the last three decades, and
with that so has the way organizations are ran. In the past the men worked and the women stayed
home and took care of the

4. Mandatory Civil Service Essay
Mandatory Civil service. That would give nothing but benefits to the community and high school
students nationwide. By mandating service in the Armed forces, or other service organizations they
would benefit the community and the nation as a whole, would give the students much needed job
experience, and help instill discipline or open new experiences for students to explore.
With all the help that the students would be given, it would greatly help the community and the
nation all together. One perspective is that making these services mandatory would help these
nonprofit organizations by volunteer work. The organizations depend on volunteer work and
participation to keep their functions running. On the other hand, other people see this ... Show more

Everyone always asks How can I get a job if I need work experience, and I need a job to get
experience? well this would be one way to acquire work experience. If everyone worked for a
foundation for about a year, then everyone would have a year s work of experience! This would
be guaranteed training that everyone would receive, that employers could recognize as experience
of working as a team, following directions, getting jobs done, providing and helping for others and
on and on. With mandatory civil service or Armed Service participation, more students would have
work experience to take with them to college and potentially higher paying jobs. On top of all of
this, a student who already has an idea of what he or she wishes to major in or join to work force
in would have the opportunity to check it out beforehand. There are thousands of organizations and
foundations they would be able to join. Giving them this foreshadow of their field could potentially
save them time and money when they attend college and change their major four times or get
caught up in a job field they despise.
Mandatory civil service should be a requirement of all high school graduates to advance on to the
real world and/or college after. With this system, there would be nothing but benefits, students
would support their community and country, develop new experiences and find a possible new
interest, instill some discipline and training, and could potentially save time and money for the
parents and students going to the real world. If this was instilled, our community as a whole would
benefit, and our students would be better equipped to deal with the day to day life of the real

November 16 was a six country day. Several Miguel and I flew over, others we landed in. After
leaving Tapachula, Mexico, we over flew Guatemala and made a fuel stop in El Salvador. We
over flew Honduras and Nicaragua, eventually landing in Liberia, Costa Rica. The time spent
over Guatamala turned out to be particularly memorable. The G in Guatemala must stand for
green. From the cockpit, my eyes could discern every imaginable shade of green and no other
hues. I had the impression farmers cultivated every available square inch of arable land. Miguel
and I were able to observe VolcГЎn de Fuego ( Volcano of Fire ) on that rare day when neither
smoke spewed from it nor clouds floated over it, an impressive sight. With ease, I grasped... Show

Prior to arriving at the airport, in my mind, El Salvador always conjured up Iran Contra and the
1980 s Miami Vice type images of guerillas blowing up buildings. Fortunately, my perceptions
turned out to be totally erroneous and our experience, while time consuming, was quite
enjoyable. While talking to one of the workers at the airport, I commented on how outstanding
the facilities were, not a difficult comment to express with total sincerity as the airport was
beautiful and the facilities were significantly in excess of adequate. He spoke English fluently
and his uncensored, genial response was, Do you see how good it can be when you guys
(Americans) don t mess around with us? I heard comparable sentiments expressed numerous times
throughout the trip. Miguel and I were now south of the airports along the border between the
United States and Mexico and that made a world of difference. XXXXX This was the first time we
landed at an airport which didn t routinely service private, non commercial airplanes flying to or
from the United States. As Comalapa was an international airport and our plane was extraordinarily
diminutive compared to commercial airliners, controllers directed us to park off to the side of the

6. Comparing Bartleby, The Scrivener And Bartleby
It is both an unarguable and undesirable fact that we live in a society completely remote from our
fellow man. There is no longer a sense of community between friends and neighbors no brotherhood
in the presence of coworkers in the commercial workplace. Even the higher, spiritual presence that
had once bound together all things in worship and praise has faltered in the face of this profound
apathy. It is not that mankind has lost its ability to communicate modern technology provides us
with the ability to speak to one another over tremendous lengths and sustain friendships in

The secondary title for the novel, A Story of Wall Street, sets the stage for what has become
another moral dilemma of man the importance of commerce placed over the importance of life.
Melville plays with the role of commerce continuously throughout this work, which takes place
inside of a Lawyer s office on Wall Street. The Lawyer states, very simply, that he is a man who,
from his youth upwards, has been filled with a profound conviction that the easiest way of life is
the best, revealing that at the very core of his being is an ideal that anything strenuous he may
come across in his path should be quickly avoided, as to not cause any disturbance in his daily
routine (Melville 1). This accurately sums up the general mindset of those on Wall Street at the
time, and perhaps America as a whole that anything out of the ordinary was considered a nuisance
to those focused entirely on the generation of wealth. The Lawyer recognizes this, and even
considers himself a part of this crowd. However, he has taken the time to write this account of
Bartleby, the Scrivener that arrives one day to fill a position in the office. While Bartleby may
represent this nuisance exactly, the Lawyer finds himself drawn towards the mysterious quality he
brings, unaware whether he will be beneficial to the firm or

uncle dropped off his daughter, my baby cousin Maia (She looks like a little elf, small, funny,

brother as well. And my uncle had left as well with his now wife(she is very beautiful). So my
sister was bored so she started playing some Fortnite(Fortnite is a game where you can choose

then, my mom got a text from my uncle, the one who dropped off the baby that said that he was

Journal #2: Visual Symbol
A visual symbol that would be considered appropriate and important to the work would be the
Magic Bus. This Magic Bus provided Christopher McCandless with a place of shelter in the
American West. He came across this abandoned bus during his travels and gave it this name
because of a song from The Who which was a British Rock band that Mccandless favored. The
author included this visual symbol in the book most likely for the purpose of demonstrating
McCandless belief in luck and hope. McCandless believed that since he randomly came across a
bus in the wild, it was considered a form of luck because it wasn t likely for someone to come
across that during an expedition in the wild. He also later on eats the wrong berry that
unfortunately poisons him, leading to his death that took place on the old mattress in the Magic
Bus; which he viewed as a loss or ending of his luck that he has been granted with.

11. Child Labor Caused The Children
Damon Randazzo Ms. Wilkerson F Period 14 October 2014 Research paper In the early 1800 s
education was only available to certain people. The people who could not go to school had no
choice but to work for very low pay. Child labor started when factors were mostly ran by
machines and not by man power. Some of the jobs include mines, glass factories, agriculture,
home industries, newsboys, messengers, bootblacks, and peddlers. The owners of the factors
would pay children to run the machines because it was cheaper than paying adults. Child labor
caused the children to have a very bad childhood. They could be like normal children because
they had to work all day and could not go play outside with the neighborhood kids. In the early
1800 s only the wealthy children could go to school and the poor children would have to work in
factories. There were many different types of jobs during the early 1800 s. Some of the jobs
include mines, glass factories, agriculture, home industries, newsboys, messengers, bootblacks,
and peddlers. A job in a factor may consist of 12 to 18 hour days, six days a week. Children could
start working in factors as early as 7 years old. The working conditions in the factors were often
dark, damp, and dirty which made the children ill. The children did not just work in factors they
also worked in coal mines where it was very dirty and the children often became ill. The children

12. Phaedo Research Paper
Phaedo One of the final discussions that Socrates goes of is the journey people take after death.
When Socrates takes on this philosophical topic it leads into the description of the soul. In the
book, Plato Five Dialogues, translated by G. M. A Grube, Phaedo gives an account of this
discussion. Now the question that we want to discuss is, what is the soul according to the
Phaedo ? What makes this a hard question is that Socrates never directly answers this question.
Although, according to the account that the Phaedo provides, this paper will argue that the soul
is the source/essence of true knowledge. To show this, we will go over three different ideas. First
we will go over how the soul and the body are separate. Second we will go over... Show more

The reason that this is important is because it shows that the soul has all pure knowledge and
when we are born we just forget it until something reminds us of that piece of knowledge.
Socrates explains this by using an example of seeing something that reminds a person of a
different thing. The example that Socrates uses is the example of sticks and stones. One person
may think that a stick or stone look equal, but another person may view them as unequal. This is
important because the sticks and stones may not be equal, but we are reminded of equality even
though there is no equality we have the idea of the true form of equality. Phaedo states, We must
then possess knowledge of the Equal before that time when we first saw the equal objects and
realized that all these objects strive to be like the equal but are deficient in this (Pg. 113). Socrates
explains that this knowledge had to come from somewhere and it must have been in a past life.
These arguments show us that that Socrates thought that the soul is the source or essence of true
knowledge. Even though Socrates does not directly answer the question of what the soul is we can
see that he considers the soul is the source or essence of true

13. My Road Trip
I have been on many road trips in my life. For as long as I can remember, summer vacation was
piling in the car and driving across the country, setting up camp wherever we went. I would
watch my mom in the weeks and months before it, carefully planning every step of the way,
even though it would often come unravelling halfway through. The best part of vacations are the
improvised parts, whether it s taking a day trip to Disney World, the tickets bought the day
before, driving down to San Francisco for no good reason, or watching a movie in a tiny movie
theater on a day that it rained. Planning is crucial, I learned, but you should never expect
anything to be set in stone. My theoretical road trip would be taken with my two sisters and last
ten days, and would be a mad dash west towards California, which has many wonderful National
Parks for us to camp in. The National Parksystem is a wonderfully western phenomenon, and
throughout the states west of the Appalachians, there is an amazing diversity of places to camp
and hike in. There will hopefully be no hotels on this trip, only tents. We will have two hundred
dollars put aside for grocery shopping, which we will use to buy food that we will cook with.
There will also be another three hundred set aside for eating out. There will also be four
hundred dollars for emergencies, whether that be a car breakdown or staying in a hotel. For our
ten day trip, we will have to pay for a campsite each night. The practical and wonderful thing
about camping is that the average campsite costs only ten dollars, so that will only cost us about
one hundred dollars. Hiking, our main activity on the trip, will cost us nothing as well. My
family also owns a pass that gets us into National Parks for free, so that will cost us nothing. The
car we will take is an Hyundai Elantra, which has been highly reliable in the past, and the
average cost of gas per mile is twelve cents. Lucy and I will switch driving, while Sadie will be in
charge of navigation, using atlases and Google Maps. The first day of the trip, we will leave
Kansas early in the morning and drive all the way to Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado.
In the usual traffic, this trip will take approximately ten hours

15. A Discussion Matter Expert For Barclays s Ppi Complaints...
Within my role as a Subject Matter Expert for RBS s PPI complaints team, one of my principal
duties is liaising with our operations in India.
Our staff in India carry out a variety of duties to support the work completed by my team, including
the logging and processing of correspondence received from customers and the FOS. Any mistakes
made processing this correspondence can cause serious detriment to customer experience whilst
making a complaint; making it essential for us to maintain an open line of communication with
India.
The subject of my reflective statement will be a situation that arose whilst I was providing
training to our operation in India; specifically training around our process for logging customer s
acceptances of offers. During a period where we were receiving a large amount of these
acceptances, it was my responsibility to introduce this process into the duties carried out by India.
The plan was to carry out several telephony training sessions to ensure they understood the process,
and were capable of logging acceptances without any errors.
However having begun the training it became clear India was unwilling to take on this new duty.
Logging acceptances is an inherently more complicated task than India felt they were capable of
completing or should be responsible for doing. They also believed being so far removed from the
rest of the PPI operation, it would not be possible for them to get the support needed to complete
this duty effectively.

Victorian and Edwardian Britian was a place rich of strict christianity alongside widespread poverty
which resulted with a dangerous and damaging working structure, high rates of child mortality and
a rigid and damaging class structure that was highly focused around child labour.
The employment of children deprives them of childhood and a chance at education, interfering with
their ability to attend school and educational institutions, while mentally, physically and
emotionalling draining them. The lack of ceoncept of childhood resulted in chiren actively
participating in work as soon as they were seen competent.
Child labor interrupts a childrens cognitive development and can severly affect the childs social
development because the lack of freedom is impacting on their chance to engage in social play
and interacting with other individuals. Those who work many hours a week are at a higher risk to
develop problematic social behaviours and turn to negative behavoirs as they age alongside poor
preformance. [1]
In these times there was a lack of education, especially to the female population as it wasn t
deemed nessisary. Skills were passed down through generations as opposed to being learnt in
schools. This often lead to protests declaring that children were being used for slavery and being
stripped fo their adolescence and things that are vital for growth and understanding. With the

the two
Atomic Bombs which were dropped in Japan. This question will be answered, along with the
method that citizens were actually killed by the bomb. Besides the initial blast winds that an

In the two bombings there was a large gap in the number of people that died. In Hiroshima the city
population at the time of the bombing was 310,000, The estimated deaths was
90,000 140,000 people. As for the Nagasaki bombing, the city population before the bombing was
250,000. The estimated number of deaths was 60,000 80,000 people.
Notice that the word, quot;estimated quot;, was used for both amounts of deaths. The reason for
this is because, the number of deaths cannot be precisely known because records of military
personnel in each city were destroyed.
There have been several comparisons between the damage capabilities of the two bombs. First of
all, it was said that to achieve maximum blast effect, the bomb had been set to detonate 1800 feet
over Hiroshima. This is approximately
548 meters. The bomb in Hiroshima reached a height of
580+/ 15 meters. As for the bomb in Nagasaki, it reached a height of 500+/ 10 meters. The radius
in which ceramic roof tiles melted was 600m in the Hiroshima bombing and 1000m in the
Nagasaki bombing. The radius in which granite stone melted was 1,000m for the Hiroshima bomb
and 1,600m for the Nagasaki bomb. What can be determined from these statistics is that the
Nagasaki bomb has much stronger heat rays in it, and in turn would destroy more territory and kill
more people. As said earlier in this essay, the location of
Nagasaki prevented that. It was said that when

Divine Command Theory in Plato s Euthyphro
Divine Command Theory is the topic brought up in Euthyphro. The theory is stated by Euthyphro
which suggests that the definition of piety is dependent on if the gods favor it. What makes this
theory complicated to argue is the context in which it is in. Since more than one god is involved in
the theory,it is the reason the argument works so well. Platos Euthyphro brings the Divine
Command Theory into play by setting up a situation were it can be discussed. Plato argues with
another character,Euthyphro, as to what piety is. The first argument used is pious because the
gods like it .The second argument Socrates used for Euthyphro was piety was because it is loved
by all the gods . The ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Socrates does not tell
Euthyphro exactly what he means,he lets him draw his own conclusions.
Contributing factors to the Divine Command Theory in Euthyphro are mostly around the
grammatical structure. Euthyphro throughout the entire dialog is trying to explain something to
what seems to be the best of his abilities but with the use of grammatical manipulations on the part
of Plato,Plato also uses Euthyphro s argument against himself by finding simple mistakes and
loopholes in his speech. Even though
Plato seemed to twist his words around doesn t mean he didn t make a valid argument.
Another thing that makes this argument work is the use of multiple gods instead of a single god. If
a single god said something then there is no divine command theory.
When looking at the argument, ethics and morals are set closely together. Morals are mostly based
around what a religion has told you what is right and wrong. But first one has to understand what is
pious and impious. The argument regarding the first definition is more complicated when
discussing Gods rather than one God. One god tells you what is right and what is wrong. There is
no argument against it. When

The expected cost synergies (as announced by HP) are approximately $2.5 billion . This amounts
to approximately $0.83 per share in the merged firm. The market value of Compaq at the time

Compaq should be $23.5 billion. So the final exchange ratio price of $25 billion includes a

22. Essay on The Matrix Hero Myth
The Matrix Hero Myth
Hollywood is the production machine that continues to bombard America with its action packed
hero movies. The Matrix stars Keanu Reeves as a prime example of the larger than life Hollywood
hero whose explosive screen acting and dumb luck turn the lead character into this hero, who
tantalizes American audiences.
The storyline of the movie throws audiences immediately into the mystery behind the matrix
from an objective person s perspective. Neo, or Mr. Anderson as the evil Agents call him, is
searching for an answer to a question he s looked for all his life. He wants to know what is the
matrix? Neo later learns from two new mysterious friends that the matrix is the world pulled over

Our next character is Trinity. She is the rough and tough female who certainly doesn t care about
breaking a nail. This woman acts in such a self sufficient and heroic manner that the audience could
assume that she is the main character in the first few minutes of the movie. She talks and acts like a
tough guy while presenting a very feminine body. The ways in which she shows her body, along
with her acting, presents her as America s tough girl, to be idled along with the hero.
The Agents are the dark forces of the A.I. computers that work against all the efforts of our hero
and his little band that battle to stop them. They are dark complex characters with the ability to
alter the matrix and hinder, or kill, the group of humans trying to stop them. Their unemotional
faces and voices add to their dark tone and mood.
Cipher is another important character due to the fact the he was fighting for the cause of rescuing
humanity, but turns traitor and gives in his friends just so he can go back to his little taste of non
reality. His evil and conniving attitudes are foreshadowed on a few occasions when some of his
true personality shows through. One example would be the scene where Neo and Cipher are sitting
at the computer terminals in the ship and Cipher starts prying into why Neo is there, and how he
got there. His subversive techniques in his language and tone

25. Void And The Void
Architecture performs the new formulation and reproduction by formatting actions in order to
accommodate to the existing environment. The basic practice of the architectural space is to
reform the object of architecture on the site. People have built a natural environment for themselves
by starting the first shelter since they are in the world. The built environment that undergoes
continually a transformation and change has evolved to be closely associated with people and the
lives of people. At this point, the relationship between architectural and urban voids came into
prominence. So, what is the void? How is it designed? And how can the void contact its inside and
outside? or What is the potential of voids?
Many theorists, architects, and philosophers have asked these questions for over two thousand year
but answers are still uncertain. As a general thing, the void is about absence instead of existence, or
about nothing instead of a thing. However, it may be said that void as emptiness is defined with a
mutual understanding. Void as a conceptual topic could provide the inspiration for art and
architecture. The existence of voids could reach to individuals and society thanks to art and
architectural works. Although void and fullness are in opposite, they always create each other.

I guess no because the term of void is very vague on account of constituting a multi layered
fiction. It is unidentified in the first time and can not be poured into question. Therefore, it can be
thought that void is a notion that allows diverse expansions. In daily language, the notion of the
void has a clearer sense. As a noun, void refers both the physical emptiness and the deficiency of
something. As an adjective, it refers a position and a place that is not occupied and generated.
These meanings of void focus on emptiness but actually, void is not empty

dominate the Middle East for political and economical reasons, decreasing civil liberties and
controlling the world s supply of oil. This view is one held by millions, claiming that such force

Cadbury has unfortunately seen lack of penetration in the rural market where people tend to
dismiss it as a high end product, as the prices do range between standard and premium, never any
less. The reason for high prices is due some of the cocoa, a major ingredient, having to be imported,
resulting in several charges and a higher inventory. The company must also find solutions to natural
conditions, for example, heat. The majority of the markets in India are not air conditioned, hence
cannot store chocolates, at least during hot summers, which limits market access.
Industrial Production
Cadbury, beside many other companies, supply the local market through its local production units.
Cadbury India manages to practice this through five factories, located in Thane, Pune, Induri and

28. The Great Strategists Of The 19th Century
War history has had its heroes, its thinkers and strategists who by means of their abilities moved
martial arts ahead and have influenced the course of history. One of the greatest strategists of the
19th century was Helmut von Moltke, a German Field Marshal. Moltke was the Chief of General
staff of the Prussian Army for three decades (1857 1887) and is considered the creator of modern
methods of warfare.
Moltke s conceptual, organizational, and doctrinal changes in the Prussian Army created a military
machine , which none of the European military powers could compete with. Victories over
Denmark in 1864, Austria in1866 and France in 1871 led to the unification of Germany and were
examples of the capabilities of this military thinker. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He recognized that often decisive role that moral factors played in victory. Although it may seem
that the French Revolution and industrialism influenced the adaptation of the Prussian army
automatically, as Moltke s influence is quite evident. Moltke s concept of war involved combining
rapid mobilization, transportation, deployment, movement, and combat into one continuous
sequence, making every effort to bring superior numbers to bear in the final decisive battle
therefore, the key task of Moltke s reform was to create, from the Prussian army, an efficient,
modern way warring fighting force. Primarily his effort was focused on the restructuring of the
General Staff and the officers training. Moltke oversaw further improvements in Prussia s military
recruitment and education systems once he became Chief of Staff. These resulted in a doubling
of the size of the field and the army and further strengthening of its reserve consequently
capability . The old divisions of the Great General Staff were replaced by three departments, which
recalled the Theatres of War . This restructuring of the General Staff formed the basic framework
of the whole Institution. Moltke developed the method of general directives into guiding principles
. As a new Chief of General Staff, he required initiative and independence from his officers. His
subordinates were trained to

31. The Journey Of Aeneas From Virgil s Aeneid And The...
At a first glance, the journeys of Aeneas from Virgil s Aeneid and Saint Augustine in his
autobiography The Confessions, do not seem to have much in common. In Confessions, Augustine
embarks on a spiritual journey, while Aeneas endures a physical one. After closely reading both
texts, readers can see the powerful, striking connection between Saint Augustine s journey and
Aeneas. The Confessions serves as a personal inspiration to readers by showcasing Augustine s
journey towards God, and His presence throughout that journey. Aeneas ability to overcome
hardships because of his belief in the gods and divine grace, is closely related to Augustine s
ability to be exposed to God s mercy and companionship, even when he did not have faith in Him,
because of the notion instilled in him by God. Divine Providence is evident in both The Aeneidand
The Confessions through examples such as, characters enduring storms as a result of the gods, or
dreams confirming that God is in complete control of the world. Although Augustine has strayed
from God, God remains with him. Throughout The Aeneid, Aeneas showcases divine grace, divine
Providence, and self sacrifice, which makes him relate more closely with Augustine s journey of life
than the one written by Virgil. Divine grace can be defined as the divine influence within humans,
which inspires them to resist temptation and endure tribulations. It also signifies the reawakening
of people to God. Throughout The Aeneid, Aeneas faces many

We all ride for the same purpose, to win, but its those that ride with their heart and soul and leave

bull themselves that are the champions. There are misconceptions when it comes to the sport of
rodeo. Despite what PETA and animal activists think, rodeo is the way of life for some people
and nothing can change that. We take pride in our animals, the livestock we use, and wouldn t

plan their recreation around the same animals they spend long hours working with developed

with them everyday? We wouldn t use or ride an animal that couldn t perform the task needed to

Zhang portrays that the export levels in China rose as a result of the expansion of multinational
corporations. This suggests that as exports are a component of aggregate demand as exports rise
aggregate demand rises meaning China s economy is growing in theory. This is supported by
Sun (2002) by showing the macroeconomic impacts that FDI induces. He recognises that FDI
influences trade flow as he sees that China s total trade volume relative to GDP rose from 15.2
percent in 1980 to 26.8 percent in 1995. The more coastal you go the more influential the foreign

40. Argumentative Essay About Penguins
Magnificent creatures of the land and sea, penguins have been around for a long time. Penguins
have adapted well over the course of many years, for swimming and hunting purposes. Everyone
knows that penguins are weird birds that can t fly and have to waddle on land, but what most
people don t know about are the harms that penguins have been exposed to and the fact that many
penguins are endangered, if not vulnerable to endangerment. Penguins are incredibly different
from other animals and are very important to the food chain, so they should be saved from
endangerment. Penguins indeed have adapted a great deal as time passed. According to recent
research on old fossils found in Peru, ancient penguins used to be six feet tall. They could swim and

It seems unusual that birds can t fly, but it s brilliant that they can practically fly underwater !
The World Book (2008 ed.) states that penguins use the same motion to swim as other birds use
to fly. These flipper y fowls can zoom through the water at a rate of eight miles an hour, but if
they really must, they can swim above twenty miles for the same amount of time! Penguins take
breaths every minute so they soar by the surface and pounce into the air on occasion, although
they can hold their breath for almost twenty minutes as they dive deep below into the water.
Penguins can plunge as deep as 900 feet. That s 300 times their average height! They are not only
so fabulous underwater; penguins can toboggan across the snow on their bellies or climb over
rocks if they need to! Rockhopper penguins, as one might assume, are named after their ability to
hop over rocks easier than most other penguins. Rockhoppers are also able to pencil dive (feet
first) into the water, unlike most other penguins, and can leap back into the air as high as three
times their height and grab onto perches above them with their tiny

41. Present Day Protest Summary
Tufekci uses different strategies to convince her audience that present day protest, no longer has
the same effect they did before social media. She proposes this theory by stating that social media
has changed the game for protest. Tufekci gives examples of different type of protest throughout
American history to show the effect it has on society. For example, the Women March of 2017,
March on Washington of 1963, Antiwar Protest 2003, and the Tea Party protest of 2009. All these
protests impacted America in different ways. Tufekci was able to grasp her audience attention by
appealing to nature and authority. Tufekci is a writer who emphasizes on the effect technology has
on politicsand society The protests in American all had a different

42. San Juan Del Rio Catholic School
CSJDR s Community Resources San Juan del Rio Catholic School (SJDR) is a parish within the
Diocese of St. Augustine. It is located in Saint John s County and in a rather affluent section. There
are many strengths of San Juan del Rio Catholic School but there are some weaknesses that need to
be addressed. One of the main things we needat San Juan del Rio is more activities and sports
teams. Our students are very competitive and play numerous sports are a part of many clubs
outside of school. They are also very involved in many activities which require travel throughout
the year. Having more activities and sports teams throughout the school year would ensure a
variety of students enrolling in our school and would meet the needs of the students at SJDR.
After school programs develop critical traits that prepare our students or adulthood while
keeping them safe and entertained. At San Juan del Rio, there are not as many programs and
sports teams because the school has reached its capacity when it comes to rooms and fields for
the students to play. Money to construct more buildings and fields is part of the reason why the
school does not have more programs than it does. After school programs serve communities of
children and youth all across the United States, and SJDR needs to be involved in this process.
This would also fix the fact that the school is mostly Caucasian, as it would allow new
opportunities for all types of students. After school programs can help students

43. John Green Paper Towns Essay
It s a paper town. I mean look at it Q: look at all those cul de sacs, those streets that turn in on
themselves, all the houses that were built to fall apart. All those paper people living in their paper
houses, burning the future to stay warm (Green 57). This quote is from The #1 New York Times
Bestseller, Paper Towns, written by John Green. In part one of this book, Quentin Jacobsen, the
main character, lives in a subdivision in Florida named Jefferson Park. Quentin s miracle in life was
his neighbor, Margo Roth Spiegelman. As time went passing by, their relationship slowly
disintegrated during high school. One night, Margo decides to show up at Q s window and goes
on a crazy adventure in the middle of the night. After the night was over, she was not seen ever
since that morning of school. In this journal, I... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The author of this book gave the reader a good visualization of Margo and Q hopping the fence
in the parking lot at SeaWorld. I believe the author did a good job at visualizing because he gave
the reader precise descriptions of the events in the book. For example, We ran through a small
thicket of trees, hugging tight against these huge opaque tanks that might have stored animals,
and then we came out to an asphalt path and I could see the big amphitheater where shamu
splashed me when I was a kid (Green 75). This is a useful visual to show how visualization is
key when writing a story. The visualizations include specific details of events or objects that are in
the book. As readers can visualize an event, it gives them a better understanding of the story line.
With the sentences that the author has given, I believe it is easy for others to visualize each event
with the specific aspects. Creating an image from the story can also help connect, predict and form
other reading strategies. Visualizing is truly a useful reading strategy in every

44. The Characteristics Of Sundiata An Epic Of Old Mali
Sundiata an epic of old Mali is a story about Sundiata Keita who was the founder of the Mali
Empire in West Africa. This story is an oral tale of a young king s rise to power and is narrated
by Djeli Mamoudo Kouyate who was a griot or traditional storyteller. Griots are known to be
ancient historians, keeping track of their culture and passing down this information which lasts,
generation after generation. In Sundiata an epic, Kouyate expresses how important it is to the
Malinke culture to preserve this oral history. I teach kings the history of their ancestors so that
the lives of the ancients might serve them as an example, for the world is old, but the future
springs from the past says Kouyate ( 1 ). Preserving Malinke culture and history was ideal in
teaching the younger generation of their rich heritage and what it means to live the life of a
Malinke. Among numerous different things, the epic is certainly an investigation of what qualities
characterize Sundiata as a hero, and by augmentation, what excellencies are heroic. The most
glaring is his strength. Notwithstanding when he is disabled as a youngster and can t walk, he has
strong arms. Be that as it may, when he at long last stands, he astounds everybody, bowing a
tremendous pole to a bow and pulling a tree up by its foundations. Another quality is his boldness,
most obviously enlightened by his expertise and coarseness in a fight. Be that as it may, Sundiata
has more than an animal s strength he

45. Essay on Death Penalty Debate
Why is the death penalty still allowed throughout much of the U.S.? The process of prosecuting and
convicting an individual is astronomical, and there is great debate as to whether the death penalty
actually works as a deterrent. Retribution and biasness have contributed too many that have
received this sentence, considering all this, life imprisonment is best for all, realistically, and most
effective. The advantages of life imprisonment far more outweigh the death sentence. Death Penalty
America has always had a history of using the death penalty, but no subject has received greater
debate. There are many reasons why the death penalty should not be used in America, first there is
not data that shows that the death penalty acts as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
(NAKELL, 1978) The death penalty is much more expensive than life imprisonment without parole.
Capital trails are longer and more expensive at every step than other murder trials. Capital cases
tend to last several years and can consist of pretrial motions, expert witness investigations, jury
selection, and the necessity for two trials; one on guilt and the other on sentencing. Once an
individual is sentenced to death, the case automatically gets appealed to the state, then to the Court
of Appeals and finally to the Supreme Court. Guilty pleas in capital punishment cases are almost
unheard of, plus many of these trials result in life sentences anyway, so the state in which the
trial is held ends up paying for the costs of the capital case. The extreme costs of capital
punishment are actually making America less safe because financial and legal resources are being
diverted from effective crime fighting. When a prosecutor decides to pursue a capital case they go
to extensive and costly means, this may include the use of forensics, psychology, technology, and
witnesses. The states (tax payers) also suffer; security precautions imposed by the death sentence
must be paid. In the end the offender may die in prison, so there is no reliable data that the death
penalty

46. Mulan And Molana Comparison
Since my research involves comparing Mulan and Moana, establishing the relationship of these two
films is important for my thesis credibility. These films were not randomly chosen for a
comparison and contrast paper. In fact, they were carefully selected because of the relationship that
exists between these films; they come from the same filmstudio and are constructed with some
identical elements. Additionally, my research is centered on how these films are similar within the
overall storytelling realm and the Disney specific storytelling realm. Before delving into literature
that mentions these films specifically, it is crucial to introduce a theory that accounts for why and
how these two films share similar plot elements. In his book, Seven Basic Plots: Why Do We Tell
