Not again! โอ้ให้ตายเถอะ อีกแล้วหรือเนี่ย , อย่าให้มีอีกนะ เช่น (On the phone) Sorry I'm gonna be late. Not again!! ( เอาอีกแล้วหรือมาสายประจำเลย )

Not always ก็ไม่เสมอไปหรอก เช่น Do you play football everyday? Not always. ( แสดงว่าเล่นเกือบทุกวันจริง แต่ไม่ถึงขั้นทุกวัน )

Not anymore ไม่อีกต่อไปแล้วละ เช่น Are you still seeing him? เธอยังคบเขาอยู่หรือเปล่า Not any more. ไม่อีกต่อไปแล้ว ( แสดงว่าเคยคบกัน )

Not at all ไม่เป็นอะไรหรอก ( ใช้ตอบคำขอบคุณ ) เช่น Thank you for your help. ขอบคุณนะที่ช่วย Not at all. ไม่เป็นอะไรหรอก ( เต็มใจช่วย )

Note: คำว่าไม่เป็นอะไรหรอก คนไทยเข้าใจผิดเป็น Never mind ความจริงคำๆนี้ถ้ามีใครพูด Never mind กับเรา แสดงว่าเขาไม่อยากให้เราทำ เพราะเกรงใจ หรือว่ารังเกียจคุณ เช่น Would you mind mopping the floor for me? นี่ ช่วยถูพื้นให้หน่อยซิ Wait a minute. เดี๋ยวนะ Never mind, Thank you. ไม่เป็นไร ( ทำเองก็ได้ ) ขอบคุณ ( ฝรั่งไม่ลืมที่จะขอบคุณเสมอ )

Not bad ไม่เลวนี่ ( ใช้ได้ทีเดียว ) เช่น How do you like your new girlfriend? แฟนใหม่เธอเป็นยังไงบ้าง Not bad. ก็ไม่เลวหรอก ( ใช้ได้ )

Not to worry ความหมายเดียวกับ Don't worry คือ ไม่ต้องห่วงหรอก เช่น I ran out of money. ฉันเงินหมดแล้วนะ Not to worry, I've got some dough. อย่าห่วงเลย ฉันยังพอมีเงินเหลือ (dough เป็นคำแสลงแปลว่าเงิน )

Not a hope อย่าได้หวังไปเลย , ไม่มีหวังซะหรอก เช่น You think Pei will go out a date with me? นายคิดว่าเป้ยจะไปเดทกับฉันไหมเพื่อน Not a hope, you are too far out of her league. อย่าได้หวังเลย นายมันดอกฟ้ากับหมาวัดเลย

Not a word อย่าบอกใครหละ เช่น Not a word. This is between you and me. อย่าบอกใครละ รู้กันแค่เฉพาะเราสองคนนะ Not to worry, I'll keep my mouth shut. ไม่ต้องห่วง ฉันจะเก็บเป็นความลับเลย

Not if I can help it ถ้าช่วยได้ ก็จะทำหรอก เช่น Don't you argue with me. I'm your boss. อย่ามาเถียงฉันนะ ฉันเป็นนายคุณนะ Not if I can help it. ถ้าทำได้ ก็ไม่อยากเถียงหรอก

Not in so many word ก็ไม่ถึงขนาดนั้นหรอก เช่น Paula is very beautiful and charming. พอลล่าเธอสวยและก็มีเสน่ห์มากเลย Not in so many word. But she sure is cute. ก็ไม่ถึงขนาดนั้นหรอกน่า แต่เธอก็น่ารักอยู่

Not likely คงยากเอาการ , ไม่มีทางหรอก เช่น You think you can get an A in your math? เธอว่าเธอจะได้เอวิชาเลขป่ะ Not likely. คงไม่มีทางหรอก

Not so fast ช้าก่อน , เดี๋ยว เช่น So the winner is....... ผู้ชนะได้แก่ Not so fast, I have a proof that he was cheating. ช้าก่อน ข้ามีหลักฐานว่ามันโกง

Not for love nor money จ้างให้ก็ไม่ทำให้หรอก เช่น Could you help me carry this? เธอช่วยถือถุงให้ฉันได้ไหม Not for love nor money. เรื่องไรละจ้างให้ก็ไม่ทำหรอก

Not a chance ไม่มีทางหรอก , ไม่มีวันเกิดขึ้นหรอก เช่น Do you think you can finish this report by tomorrow? เธอคิดว่าเธอจะทำรายงานนี้เสร็จวันพรุ่งนี้หรือเปล่า Not a chance. I will be very busy tomorrow. ไม่มีทางหรอก พรุ่งนี้ฉันยุ่งมาก
