It uses a fictitious company and includes customizing, master data, and transaction data. IDES allows users with little or no previous R/3 knowledge to easily run core business scenarios. It is designed to reflect increasingly complex modern business requirements and make all core R/3 functionality available in its most updated version. IDES includes regional organizations in Europe, Asia, North America, Latin America, and industry-specific solutions for manufacturing, logistics, financial accounting, cost accounting, and banking.
