The International Coaching Apprenticeship in Basketball (ICAB) is a 35-day program that provides national basketball coaches an opportunity to enhance their skills through lectures, seminars, and a 4-week apprenticeship with an NCAA Division I men's or women's basketball program. The program is run by the University of Delaware and USOC and includes 3 modules - an initial coaching seminar, the 4-week apprenticeship, and a concluding seminar. Participants will observe coaching staff, analyze games, and present on how they will implement ideas into their own coaching. The goal is for coaches to gain experience in the US intercollegiate system and bring knowledge home.
